Anne Hathaway as Selina Kyle.

Emma Stone, but Anne is really close. X.x

Hathaway was great, but felt mildly little out of place in TDKR to me. It could have just been that her character and Bane was too much theatricality, but there were parts where she just didn't feel like she fit the movie, even if she did fit the role. If that makes sense.

Emma Stone elevated everything about ASM for me. She brought a lot of much needed charisma and charm to the movie. I felt like everyone else was fine (and in most cases better than their predecessors) but Emma Stone actually made her character feel considerably less one dimensional than the other characters in the movie, so she's my pick.

Tough call between Anne and Emma. I ended up voting Anne.

You're all idiots for voting Anne Hathaway. Those who did at least.

Anne Hathway stomp thread.

@LordRequiem: Are you going to back that statement up by showing proof?

#10 Posted by Mucklefluga (2602 posts) - - Show Bio

Hathaway owned that role. Although she loses to ScarJo and Emma on hotness ;)

No love for Olivia Thirlby as Judge Anderson? or Lena Headey as Ma-Ma?

Emma Stone did surprisingly well in Amazing Spider-Man, so I voted for her.

EMMA STONE!

Really torn between Scralett Johansson and Anne Hathaway. Loved both but I got to go with Anne Hathaway.

Yeah, that is total balls. She is the core of the film. It is essentially a film about her.

Emma Stone captured the essence of Gwen Stacy. Of the nominees, there's just no contest.

first i wasn't sure about hathaway as slina, but she surprised me very much and fitted very well in the role.

I LOVE LOVE LOVE Emma Stone, but Anne Hathaway OWNED Selina Kyle - I was sold from her first line as Catwoman

#24 Posted by Bruxae (14008 posts) - - Show Bio

Anne, she sucessfully made me go from a complete dislike of the actor to a general like with this one part, she really nailed it.

Emma a good second.

Does LEAD ACTRESS mean the main character who is a woman or woman in a lead role? because I'd say none of the people listed except maybe Deja Thoris are lead characters who happen to be women.

Anne Hathaway.

Anne Hathaway, surprisingly, offered the best work of her career, and of the entire movie in the Dark Knight Rises. She was the one actress I came away thinking, Wow.

#28 Posted by johnkmccubbin91 (3487 posts) - - Show Bio

This was a hard choice for me as I liked both Emma Stone as Gwen, and Ann Hathaway as Catwoman, but Emma barely got it

#29 Posted by TDK_1997 (15110 posts) - - Show Bio

I didn't like Anne that much,so Emma Stone.

#30 Posted by RedQueen (1171 posts) - - Show Bio

I'm pretty sure I've voted in all the categories now, surprised by just how many I gave to Avengers and cast....

But this one goes to Anne Hathaway.

Lena Headey was freaky in Dredd and the girl playing Cassie Anderson was good, theres also some interesting Japanese movies like Yuriko Yoshitaka in We were There and the Liar Game series

Anne Hathaway as Catwoman?! MEOWWW!!

#36 Posted by Raw_Material (3300 posts) - - Show Bio

Still I do give credit to Scarlett Johansson for being so damn hot as Black Widow. This one was a hard one to tell you the truth.

#37 Posted by Bo88gdan (4673 posts) - - Show Bio

Scarlett Johansson

#38 Posted by Glitch_Spawn (17132 posts) - - Show Bio

Definitely Anne Hathaway as Catwoman!

#39 Posted by RoboShark (1283 posts) - - Show Bio

Hathaway was the last person i wanted. But she's one of the best things about the movie.

#40 Posted by Omega Ray Jay (7968 posts) - - Show Bio

Emma Stone, Marion Cotillard was shocking.

#41 Posted by iHailCarlo (94 posts) - - Show Bio

Anne Hathaway should run away with this.

#42 Posted by GodDamnIronMan (1553 posts) - - Show Bio

Anne.

I remember I read an article about how bad Anne wants to take the role...she even went for straight 10 hours intensive training.

#43 Posted by iaconpoint (1363 posts) - - Show Bio

Emma Stone is one of the few girls everyone fawns all over about which I actually understand the hype.
