I hope he is not Thanos! Maybe he can be Groot.
Benicio Del Toro Joins 'Guardians of the Galaxy'
@lordrequiem: Dude. Rings had talking Trees. Star Wars had a Gold Robot that sounded like an annoying British stereotype, and Spider-Man had a fat guy with tentacles as a Villian. They all received acclaim.
@myronlee26: Movie of 2014 will be The Amazing Spiderman 2, because anything with a talking raccoon is doomed to ridicule.
This is good casting though, he certainly has the face for it.
By who? Who in their right mind can ridicule it?
If you've accepted a gigantic, green rage monster and a man in the American flag who can do impossible things with a shield...

Just curious... if the person doing the voice IS British, is it still a stereotype?
@thomaselliot: Yo dawg you just came super deep. If your being sarcastic, I just meant this image that was once deeply touched on, that all Brits were puss!es.
MARVEL is killing it with the movies!! This would be another amwesome casting.
DC heroes are slippin'
I'm already psyched for this knowing Karen Gillan is going to be in the movie, but now with del Toro in the movie its just more icing on the cake far as I'm concerned.
@lordrequiem - "If you watch that now it's far too cheesy. And if you like tending to your child like instincts then that's your prerogative. I prefer something with more substance and the slightest higher degree of seriousness than talking animals."
You just sound like a butthurt fanboy who has this false sense of a superiority-complex. So having talking a animal in a movie automatically makes it a film with no substance or seriousness? And what makes your comment even more stupid is the fact that the movie is not even out yet. Smh, get over yourself.
