Yeah I think Bendis's Daredevil isn't even his best stuff. Morrison's Batman was one of the only runs that felt like a journey instead of a collection of stories. He could have kept writing that character forever and I would have been fine with it.
Can't really choose. Both are pretty much considered the best runs on their respective characters ever, and are usually called among the best comic book runs ever. I want to go with Daredevil because I like Matt a little more, but both are seminal runs. Mesmerizing examples of how incredible comics can be.
Though I'm enjoying snyder's run I hope that one day Morrison returns for a very lengthy tenure on Batman again. I ask this question because I'm preparing to finish Morrison's batman and I'm about 6 issues into Bendis' DD and I am totally mesmerized. Much the same way I was when I finished Batman and Son. The only thing about Morrison's run I can complain about is that liberty didn't draw the entire thing and it wasn't nearly long enough.
I'm actually reading Bendis' Daredevil run right now, really enjoying it so far... don't know if I'd place it above Morrison's Batman just yet, though.
Morrison for me, easy. I didn't like Bendis' DD run and dropped the book while he was writing it. Both Waid and Miller do/did DD much better IMHO. That said, Morrison's Batman run is far from my favorite Batman run.
Going to have to go with Batman because I haven't read Bendis' DD and Morrison's Batman was the first comic I ever read and it was awesome, it really got me into comics in the first place
