Wait... what?

#2 Posted by Fallschirmjager (18940 posts) - - Show Bio

Looks like doom.

Also-is he missing an arm in the first picture...or is it folded in some weird way?

I find it hilarious.

Looks like a Dark Elf from "The Dark World" from a distance

@jonny_anonymous: Nice to see you back again Jonny. Less nice to see a lame looking costume for Doctor Doom to wear in the F4 movie though.

I hope they don't ruin this movie. The director has supposedly stated "the plot won’t be based on any history of anything already published".

It's supposed to be a Chronicle esque take on the Fantastic Four. That's enough of a bad idea.

#13 Posted by Skit (2838 posts) - - Show Bio

Why is there nothing on his costume? It looks like he's wearing a a robe/poncho combo. Why is he missing an arm? Why is he floating? So many questions.

#14 Edited by Jonny_Anonymous (34991 posts) - - Show Bio

@skit: Hopefully it looks like that just for the green screen.

Not particularly no. Nor Max Landis in general :P

I'm sorry but that costume is god damn terrible.

The other guy is the Thing. Maybe they're using midget Doom to make him look bigger?

Yeah I don't see why some Superman fans would have been happy if he wrote the New 52 version of Doomsday in the first place. His idea wasn't to my taste at all.

Here's his video where he outlines his entire plan for his take on Death of Superman. It's a long video though so bear that in mind.

That suit + Cinematography + CGI =Unknown.

I don't think we should draw conclusions to be honest, but it looks fine for a template.

#32 Posted by buttersdaman000 (10500 posts) - - Show Bio

I doubt that's the final product. They'll add CGI just like that Human Torch suit in the second pic

#33 Edited by Lvenger (21181 posts) - - Show Bio

Where's the overflowing green cape or the menacing metallic armour? All I see is a tiny green cloak and a poor attempt at Doom's metal costume.

#34 Posted by Uncanny_Doom (481 posts) - - Show Bio

It's hard to take anything away from a set picture, especially these days. There's obviously going to be a lot of CGI, so I'll give this movie the benefit of the doubt.
