Want to make suggestions for the Battle of the Week? This is the place to do it!

Update: The battle of the week will always involve the character of the month (it's currently John Stewart). Keep in mind, the match needs to generate traffic.

But honestly, I think Strode's speed advantage over Bloodshot makes it an uphill struggle for the Valiant dude.

Sure, I can eventually. Not sure if you saw, but Flash Venom was in one of the 2v2 matches!

@k4tzm4n: Might I suggest a Mongul II vs Solomon Grundy, both Modern Age (Pre-New 52)? They were both seen together controlled by Grodd in Superman/Batman Public Enemies, but I don't think either have really at all fought each other.

I only throw this out there because you said you were at a loss for DC only matchups that didn't feature ludicrously bad mis-matches. I think both of these guys threw down with Kal-El pretty well, but neither have really even seen each other.

@hart7668: It's my understanding that Grundy's showings tend to fluctuate massively from writer to writer?

@wolverine08: The dude needs a bit of a break! He had his own 1v1 early in the feature's history and recently won the Zombie Apocalypse scenario. I promise he'll show up again... maybe against T'Challa... but there will be a bit of a wait ;)

I will, however, admit that T'Challa is in a 2v2 match that I've been strongly considering!

@wolverine08: Black Panther vs Deathstroke would kill me. My two favourite characters, so evenly matched. But I don't like choosing Too Close To Call, so I'd have to decide.

As for my own suggestion, how about pre-52 JSA (Obsidian, Citizen Steel, Stargirl, Power Girl) versus Full Power Sentry? I know it would probably cause some heated debate, but I'd like to see it.

Bumping since Aquaman is now our Character of the Month and will be entering the segment!

As of right now, the most suggested characters (vs. Aquaman) are Iron Man, Namor (duh) and savage Hulk. You have one more day to make suggestions before Arthur's first battle of the week is posted.

Current, de-powered Skaar, right? If we did use Colossus, it would be 616. Seems like there was a lot of confusion the one time we used Ultimate Captain America instead of regular.

The thought definitely crossed my mind, but it looks like Arthur has her outclassed when it comes to strength. But it can be disputed she's more skilled. HMMMMM!

We used Invincible and I don't remember the traffic being very good. Sorry.

I would like to see some contrasting powers. Put Havok in one of these fights, that'd make for some very interesting debates. Havok vs Blue Beetle, vs Cyborg, vs Green Arrow? Would be interesting.
