Batman Vs Superman Dawn of Justice Trailer Review
@thehumanporch: Why not? It's not really any different than some user coming on here and commenting with their impressions.
It was alright, Batman looks cool, but they should have been willing to show more. MOS was something a I loved and I thought their first trailer was really weak as well, so maybe the next one will be good. This one was just passable, but far below any of the other trailers except maybe the first Antman trailer which was terrible.
@haydenclaireheroes: On your presentation of the content, great voice projection and inflections. Well written and easy to follow.
@dernman: Stop showing me how dumb I am
@thehumanporch: Making reviews for trailers makes more sense than releasing teaser trailers for teaser trailers.
@algorhythm511: Thank you, I am glad you enjoyed my thoughts =)
@dernman: Exactly
i disagree with you. BvS gave us just as much as the first Age of Ultron teaser and more than the first Star Wars teaser.
Yes, the confrontation is previous footage, but the only people who actually saw it are those who were at the special showing last year or who watched horrible leaked quality videos. This is still new footage to the general public.
We got to see images of Metropolis and the statue of Superman, how he is idolized by many, and now feared and hated by many
we got the Jeremy Irons Alfred dialogue and quote "That's how it starts, the fever, the rage, the feeling of powerlessness, that turns good men cruel. "
We got what I assume was Lex Luthor telling us that "Devils don't come from the Hell beneath us, they come from the sky"
We got new Batman and Bruce Wayne images
We see the Batplane and the Batmobile
And the AWESOME line about making Superman bleed.
This gave us more than a shot of the Millennium Falcon and quick shots of Storm Troopers. This gave us tone, setting, plot, action. Everything a teaser should.
@haydenclaireheroes: You are doing a great job, ignore the haters. The trailer wasn't that great. Age of Ultron and Star Wars first trailers gave us a lot more like the weird light saber and a black storm trooper. Both of those things had everyone talking.
@the_stegman: @lukehero: do either of you know what suit bat,an was wearing at the end?
It's taking itself way too seriously.
Based on the teaser, it takes itself dead seriously. I don't know if it can be said to be too serious or not until we see how it affects the movie as a whole.
Overall, I think it's a good teaser. Future trailers should expand on this, but not reveal too much. I want to be surprised.
@batman1130: Considering asunder said he is using The Dark Knight Returns as a guideline it's probably a rift of that suit. I hope we actually see Batman the detective and Batman the world class martial artist. Not just prep God, I'm gonna make a super suit Batman.

With Zack Snyder directing, I see stylized slow motion darkly lit multiple opponent bat takedowns in our future. Dunno about detective work though.
I liked it. It's nice and gritty. We've already seen cheesy Batman and Robin making jokes and a fun Superman. Although a little humor wouldn't hurt, MOS had none.
I'm giving Einsberg a chance, but he needs to step out of himself and do something completely different.
@lukehero: thanks. I didn't expect batman to use one of his "powered up" suits in the movie but we'll have to see how it turns out
@silkyballfro94: just because it wasn't beating you over the head doesn't mean it wasn't there.
