Batman vs Marvel

Which do you prefer Batman or Marvel?

I have noticed that although there are a lot of that tend to hate DC, Batman remains the most popular superhero. Marvel's popularity is also continually growing (due to their onscreen success) and so I wondered what people's preferences towards each of them are like.
