1.Who has has better movies - Batman
2.Who has better tv shows - I really like both but I'm going to have to say Batman because of The Animated Series and The New Adventures. (JL/JLU if it counts too)
3.Who has better villains - They both have really cool villains, but Two-Face and Ra's Al Ghul are the deal breakers for me personally.
4.Who has more interesting stories - I sound like a fanboy now but I truly still say Batman. They both have great stories, all these questions are pretty even.
5.Who has more villains - Batman may have a slight majority if we include minor villains, but that's just assuming.
6.Who's had the most love interest - Batman.
7.Who had more a cultural impact - It's close to call but maybe after the reboot, if done correctly Spider-Man could get up there. For now, I'll say Batman.
8.Who's a better character - Personal preference for me is Batman, but I really like Spidey too.

Spider-Man is the better hero, Batman is the better character.

Spidey is my second favourite character in all popular media, but he's simply not as good as Batman, no character is. The only thing that can come close is Neon Genesis Evangelion.
