I can't see Batman standing a fair chance given the rules of the segment.

It's a possibility!

To my knowledge, that's correct.

Potential candidates for next Does Batman Always Win?

I would really like to see how Predator would fare.

Each is a solid suggestion. Predator would be tough since they're all different when it comes to skill levels, though.

@k4tzm4n: I'd say an average, mid-level Predator would be a good contender. Rookies are not as experienced, and Elder Predators would probably mop the floor with their centuries of experience and even more advanced technology.

Didn't puny Batman lose first time he fought Bane?

#110 Posted by laflux (15496 posts) - - Show Bio

@k4tzm4n: Hey How about doing Kraven. I know he fights Spider-Man, who I consider out of Batman's Pay-Grade, but I think it would be a decent match-up. Bruce has the Superior Gear and Fighting Skills while Kraven has the better Physicals.

Well if Atrocitus was without a power ring I think it would be a fair fight. I do concede that Iron Man isn't fair. Actually I forgot to mention my #1 want and that is a Spider-Man vs Batman match.

How about matches that are far-fetched enough that they most likely would not happen in comics? For example:

1) Batman vs. Darth Vader

2) Batman vs. Garrus Vakarian or Commander Shepard (Mass Effect series)

3) Batman vs. Thanos

Or against other villains instead of heroes i.e.

1) Batman vs. Loki

2) Batman vs. Lizard

3) Batman vs. Venom or Carnage

4) Batman vs. Green Goblin

5) Batman vs Mandarin

You're welcome. The segment can't include DC characters -- this way it'll truly always be a random encounter for Batman.

Before dreamwar she didnt know batman and batman didnt know her either

You could treat it as a pre-dreamwar fight since that batman was based on the silver age version anyway

But im talking about pre-52 zealot, this is like making a "does spider-man always win?" segment and refusing to pair him with hit-girl (for example) even though theyre from different universes and dont know each other at all

Stormbox has a point and pretty much it is ignorant to say 52 Zealot is anything like Wildstorm Zealot in fact Deathstroke shouldn't have made a fool out of her like the way he did . Alot of Zealot fans I know can't stand 52 Zealot cause she isn't anything like Wildstorm Zealot. Hell I could have meant Image comics Zealot Wildcats goes as far back as image comics which are not owned by DC.

A little off topic also I'm not trying to be a smartA$$ or anything but I noticed from a friend of mine who likes Marvel comics stated that Current Black Panther doesn't have vibrainium in his suit anymore thats why he had to have his suit have a few new upgrades. Not trying to point fingers but you never mentioned that in the Batman vs Black Panther segment making people believe that he had the upgrades and his vibrainium armor. I wouldn't have known this if he didn't tell me this.

#138 Edited by k4tzm4n (41067 posts) - - Show Bio
  1. Wasn't Zealot's encounter with Batman considered canon for her?
  2. Let me make this simple: at the end of the day, I'm going to pick characters that I feel I'll give proper justice to in this segment. Wildstorm characters don't fit that bill. Sorry if you're not a fan of that decision.

@god_spawn: All are characters I'd like to use, though I confess I'd need to do far more reading on SE first. Deadpool will be a tough one because determining how he is "in character" while still trying to win isn't an easy matter -- especially when it's written so differently from writer to wrtier.
