They actually train much more together, they fight more often as a team than not, and the X-Men tends to be filled with quite a bit of internal strife.
Should both teams be working fully as a team, I think X-Men might come on top, but in a real-world situation, I'd give it to the Avengers for more often having that teamwork.
Not true. Most of the veteran X-Men members have been training in the Danger Room together almost every day for 15 years. The X-Men have always had a family like mentality.

Which the X-Men do. There has really only been one X-Man that can carry a consistent solo title and that has been Wolverine. Most of the Avengers have their own things going on in their own books.

And the Avengers don't? There have been issues and team members calling each other out on hypocrisy and bullsh*t all the time. Luke Cage quit the Avengers because he didn't like how things were going. Captain America and Iron Man's civil war escalated far beyond Cyclops and Wolverine's little schism. Captain America and Wolverine have butted heads over issues many times. Half of the Avengers have already fought each other multiple times. The X-Men have their share of fights every now and then, but not the degree and length the Avengers have.
