I have a cousin who want to get into comics. He really likes the Avengers, hulk and he likes Daredevil. He wants to buys some trades.

Could you give me advice on the best books, stories, with the best artwork. The reason why I'm asking for best artwork. He seen some of the X-Men books I have bought over the years and He didn't like some of the artwork.

You know some books, have amazing covers and then the artwork inside is not that good. There kind of misleading.

If your a fan of the Avengers, Hulk and Daredevil. Please offer some recommendations

If he wants some of the Older hulk works I'd recommend ordering the Peter David visionaries trades. and Bill Mantlos Pardoned, Regression, and also Crossroads. All of these are in trade format and are amazing stories.

I'd suggest Paks Incredible Hulks Run too. These are the trades as I recall. Incredible Hulk: World war hulks, Fall of The Hulks, Dark Son, Chaos War, God Smash, The Spy Who Smashed Me, Heart of the Monster. And He should definitely read Planet Hulk.

If he doesn't want any of the Older Stuff Mark Waids Indestructible Hulk is a good place to start too. Only 14 issue are out so far.

Ok I will get him to check them out. Is the artwork good in those books.

Mark Waid's daredevil is fantastic.

I was looking at Mark Ward Daredevil, he has quite a few volumes. Which one would you suggest is the best. Is Dardevil : end of days any good ?

I think I've red the Frank Miller one, is that the one from the 90's. I remember reading dardevil story with Kingpin on the front cover with Daradevil.

@time: with davids run it takes time to adjust to the art, and it's a mixed bag really, but the others have great artwork.

I guess that the case with most stories, when it comes to artwork. Me and my cousin will check it out. Thanks.

@wolverine08 Is Bendis Daredevil series, better than All new X-Men

@time: I'd recommend just starting with the first volume. It's been consistently excellent so you can't go wrong either way

@time: I've been enjoying Hickman's run, but it's probably too overwhelming for a newcomer. Maybe Civil War?
