Avengers(2012) or Age of Ultron(2015): The Better movie

I think the better movie was the first Avengers, however I enjoyed Age of Ultron more… if that makes any sense? lol

Age of Ultron - Best MCU movie IMO

Avengers. Age of Ultron had a chance, but it got too messy, and there wasnt much of a climax.

Avengers was easily the better movie. Age of Ultron was all around more entertaining and way more fun, but everything was rushed and underdeveloped, and the comedy was very off putting at times. The pacing was a little bit too fast as well.

Hmmmm.

The first one is surprisingly boring for the first half hour and is mostly the Iron Man - Hulk - Loki show, the second never lets up and makes better use of the characters - it is my favourite MCU movie now.

How?

Based on this poll, I actually feel like most people must think the first Avengers was bad.

I had more of a great time watching it and it had a lot more memorable moments for me. Also, having the best MCU villain helps.

Ya but Iron Man 1 tho.

Age of Ultron is great, and I even liked it more in theaters when I saw it a second time. However the first Avengers is a classic so I think it's superior to AoU just because it came first and was so amazing and breath taking when it did came out.

Avengers. I thought the story for AoU was a mess. Everything happened way too quickly and felt rushed overall. Also, why were there no repercussions for Tony building Ultron? I mean, shouldn't he be in jail?

I like Avengers a little bit more really.

AOU was good, but it had a lot to live up to.

Age Of Ultron

It wasn't his fault. Vision showed that good things can come from an AI, after all, he's now a person, just as Ultron was.

You can't blame Stark for another person's mistake.

Age of Ultron is a better movie for so many reasons, but I enjoyed Avengers more simply because Loki was so much better than Ultron.

First Avengers. Tighter plot, better villain, funnier jokes, better end fight.

Objectively speaking the first movie was better. Honestly i am still struggling to say if AOU was a good movie or not.

Age of Ultron immediately jumps at me for some reason. I think it had more faults and stuff. But it was somehow more entertaining. Maybe it's because I haven't watched the first movie in a while. I don't know.

AoU cause it didn't poop on anyone (hawkeye). Everyone got too look cool.

Age of Ultron was better but the excitement of the Marvel heroes coming together is what made the Avengers so exciting for me when I first saw it.

@i_am_lightning: Ultron isn't a person. He is Tony Stark's thoughts and ideas. There was a reason why Tony had to convince Banner to help him and kept it secret from the rest of the team. This always had the potential to go bad. If Tony never created Ultron this would have never happened.

I'll say AoU. It improved on the Avengers, but I think that the two are too similar. Neither are my favorite MCU movie.

Ultron isn't a person? How's that?

He's is an intelligent sintezoid, for me that qualifies as a person.

And he's not Tony. He's similar in a few things but overral very, very different.

Avengers 1 did everything AoU did, but better.

Age of Ultron was the better movie. The First Avengers had more boring stretches, and the second one utilized the characters in better ways. I don't feel much of a difference between Loki and Ultron, but I feel Ultron was treated better overall.
