Automan/Autowoman: Greetings!

Autowoman, here. Just making my introductions.

Autowoman is based on Automan, the holo-graphic hero from the 1980's ABC show that starred Chuck Wagner as Automan/Otto J. Mann (Federal Agent) and Dezi Arnez Jr. as Walter Nebicher, the police-computer expert that created him.

Anyone remember this show? I wish it could have gone for more episodes/seasons. And at least one issue of a comic.

I soooooo totally remember that show. It was so cheesey yet I eagerly awaited the show each week. Why hasn't that been released on dvd (or ever go to syndication). I'm thinking maybe it wasn't as good of a show as my memory would like me to believe.

But welcome! Glad you could join us!

If you use Google Video, you can find a few episodes, including the pilot. If you have Google Video on your computer, you can download the episodes. I've got the pilot episode saved to my computer.

I've never used it. I'll have to look into that.

Welcome to our fair Comic Vine. By the way, if anyone asks you who the most evil user on the site is, and they don't say me-don't trust them. They're a liar.

Yes, I'm female. If I was male, I would have picked "Automan", instead of "Autowoman"...

lol

Lol but you know what the internet is like. Pretty much everyone lies about everything.

I'm fairly truthful, even online, unless it's something dangerous. For instance, I'll give my location as USA, and occationally, I'll add Kentucky, but I very rarely --if ever-- say the name of my county and/or city.

The civilian name, however --Talli S. Mann-- is the name I made up for Autowoman. On the show, Automan's human name was "Otto J. Mann". He was belived to be a Federal agent. When I needed a human name for Autowoman, I went with the fact that she's Auto's mate/wife, so her last name would be "Mann". I then came up with Talli S. Talli S. Mann = Talisman, or amulet. I thought it would be good for the character.
