Ugh!! How the heck isn't TMNT at least in the top 50. It's not even in the top 100!!! It's easily one of the best comics coming out by any publisher.

And then to see Judge Dredd not even in the top 200 makes me pretty sad.

On a good note, glad to see Nightwing is selling good and cracked the top 50.

@dark_guyver: because its not DC/Marvel nor does it have a high profiled writer.

It seems a little odd to me that the main Trinity War issues sold quite differently. I'd have thought most people would have bought all of them for the sake of getting the full story.

Glad to see Avengers AI got some love.

@k4tzm4n: My thoughts exactly on TMNT.

#9 Posted by Lvenger (21905 posts) - - Show Bio

It's such a shame TMNT isn't selling more given that it's a well written quality of a comic book series. But I'm glad Unchained has held its own in sales even if it isn't the top selling series anymore. I knew Infinity would knock it off its pedestal.

#10 Posted by dagmar_merrill (10737 posts) - - Show Bio

I wonder how much Forever Evil #1 sold.

#11 Posted by MrMiracle77 (1659 posts) - - Show Bio

167 Demon Knights

Well, at least it got above the 10K mark.

#12 Posted by DoomDoomDoom (4211 posts) - - Show Bio

Is there a certain number for DC that if sales dip below the book is just canned? Or is it more about what is expected of the book and where it falls in comparison to other books?

Sadly, I'm not surprised that one of the best books on the shelves isn't that big of a seller.

Under 20,000 for a few months is apparently where they start considering cancelling, though sometimes things will be kept alive despite low sales, like Batwing, which has been under 20,000 for ages.

I still don't get why Superman Unchained is such a big seller.

This just saddened my day entirely...PEOPLE! BUY THESE!

#17 Posted by V_Scarlotte_Rose (6548 posts) - - Show Bio

@xwraith: The creative team seems to be popular. Maybe starting when Superman was being talked about more than usual could have helped too.

Once TMNT hits 50 I'll be happy

it's because despite all of the people on the Vine constantly saying that it's one of the best books out most of the people are to scared to step away from Marvel and DC despite how much you see them complaining about Marvel and DC

I love how regular Batman comics, not anything new still ranks top 3.

@danhimself: weird ain't it? Or Is it that they don't think its worth there time or money like I don't.

Just teenage mutant ninja turtles gone gritty-er I watch the show though

it's definitely not "Just teenage mutant ninja turtles gone gritty-er"

first off...the original Mirage book was very gritty...everything since then has been TMNT gone soft

second...if you haven't even read it then how do you know that it's not worth your time or money?

Comparing last month to this month, it's nice to see that some Valiant titles are increasing in sales, and have creeped into the top 200 zone. Maybe one day we'll see Valiant on Image's level.

Do they include digital comics in these figures or just printed comics?

How does Kick Ass make it so much. i don't understand

two things.... first, I can't find Guardians of the Galaxy anywhere on the big list

wasn't it the number 1 Marvel Comic the previous month??? whered it go... or is it a bimonthly?

ALL STAR WESTERN numbers are dropping fast.... makes me sad.... its one of the flagships.... can they really cancel it if it gets too low?

It is still written better than most titles in the New 52 let alone most of the Superman family currently. Though this month's issue was a drop in quality IMO.

@k4tzm4n: Yep that sux. At least Scarlet is still in the top 100. Lazarus being 82 is sad too. Should be higher!!!!

@bierschneeman: It seems there just wasn't an issue released in August for some reason.

@war_killer: Just print. Officially it's "Estimated Comics Sold to North American Comics Shops as Reported by Diamond Comic Distributors".

#35 Posted by MaccyD (5199 posts) - - Show Bio

@war_killer: Think just printed usually. On comixology atm, Archer and Armstrong is top seller! Who cares if it's cause it's free for a limited time! :D Also Wasteland #2 is 28th in sales!

Also, I'm starting reviewing and will be looking at the lowest selling comic of the month. My August review is here: http://www.comicvine.com/forums/gen-discussion-1/i-review-the-lowest-selling-comic-of-the-month-aug-1501132/#9

OK, I won't waste my breathe anymore saying "Marvel, enough with the constant events already." If Infinity sells like this, they are clearly just answering the demand of the market.
