ASM fans bummed out?

As far as I been reading, the whole ASM movies are done. Ended at 2nd film, and never finish that complicated crap story it was going for. I remember how many people were so die hard about this Spiderman over the Toby one, but at least the Toby one ended..... So you Garfield fans bummed out?

people liked/cared for those abominations of a movie?

Tbh, I liked the 1st movie, only disliked some of the complicated storylines but the 2nd one was dogsh!t.

Tobys movies were way better, so no.

Loved all the Spiderman films, and no one has convinced me otherwise.

Regardless of my preference for Tobey's films, yes I am bummed out. I hate when series aren't finished. Still bummed we never say Spiderman 4 and MJ and Peter get married. It just shows a general attitude of apathy towards spiderman IMO.

I'm pretty bummed out since Garfield had a far superior representation of the character.

I guess I am the only one who wanted to see a Sinister Six movie :/

Never liked Garfield, Peter Parker shouldn't look like an underwear model.

ASM1 was the best Spider-man film to date. ASM2 was rather mediocre.

I hope they release the plans that they were going for so we can at least understand what they were going to do

While better than the Raimi ones, I think that the ASM films can easily outdone.

Never understood the huge dislike for these films, tbh.

While not the best movies ever, the ASM movies were better then the Raimi ones if only because Gwen wasn't the emotionally abuse shrew MJ was and because they didn't need to sing the 60's theme song in each and every movie.

Oh and that whole "Sandman killed your uncle" thing....

I liked the movies but I'm fine with how it ended. IMO it ended on a good note that was open-ended that allows the story to be continued under the pen of the one person who has written stories that I have always loved; me.

Well, they are still doing that, only it would be in the MCU and after Spiderman 1.

They were garbage movies with a garbage actor

ASM 1 was garbage

ASM 2 was flawed but entertaining, but people will continuously exaggerate its flaws and act as if it's some abomination against humanity.

Garfield wasn't bad too be honest... He was never really given a chance...

But yes I am disappointed.. Garfield was the best.. Tobey was just.. boring.

Everyone I know who isn't a comicbook reader/lover loved them.

Weird, I mean, I've read some Spidey Comics and I still think it's a decent film. They had a lot going on with their story but I don't think it was a terrible film by any sense of the word. That level of horridness is left for Green Lantern or Catwoman.

So, it appears that the ASM movies actually had some fans....interesting.

it seems that i'm alone in this. I liked them all. not the greatest by any means, but I enjoyed every one (even Spiderman 3 and ASM 2). I am sad that it is the end of the series, but if this means I will get an actual young Peter Parker in the MCU, i'm onboard

@thetruebarryallen: The only movies I can honestly say were bad.. are the F4 movies Cat Woman, Green Lantern, and Thor: TDW is in that range.

Everything else has had mixed views mostly positive from those who don't read comics from what I've seen and heard.

What was so incredibly wrong with those films that should warrant they have absolutely NO fans.

Spidey is my all time favorite character an while I do like all of his movies I do believe we haven't seen the definite Spider-Man film yet. Hopefully the next installment will be an improvement.

The first one was ok (except uncle ben's death, that was stupid) the second one was just awful. I'm sad andrew is not coming back. But I'm glad the series is not continuing and the rights are back at marvel. .

They should have at least finished the series.
