Great as always. How far behind are you on questions cuz' I asked mine a while back?

#2 Posted by Outside_85 (12416 posts) - - Show Bio

Problem for me with Fraction's Thor was the changes he made with Odin in comparison to JMS's portrayal and the very strange way he brought him back.

#3 Posted by THEBATFoE (112 posts) - - Show Bio

I agree it was strange. But I'm not all that in to THOR so I can live. :P

#9 Posted by G-Man (39780 posts) - - Show Bio

@THEBATFoE: Where did you ask? I don't see your question in the thread. Was it via Twitter?

@ArtisticNeedham: Someone mentioned, maybe last time, about reinstalling Flash and something about an adblocker being the problem with not being able to view the videos. Seemed that solved the problem for them.

I think kid super heros really depend on how powerful they are.

#11 Posted by Watcherg6 (278 posts) - - Show Bio

@G-Man: Where did you get the star wars shirt, the one with darth vader and the kitties

#12 Posted by G-Man (39780 posts) - - Show Bio
@Watcherg6 It was from one of those 'shirts for a day' sites where they only sell them for 24 hours.

Lol -- But I want an ongoing Storm solo... I don't wanna buy Ms.Marvel again. Her last run was kinda meh for me..

The Gotham Knights animated movie had a short about a pre-Batman Bruce training in India and I'm pretty sure there were a few episodes of the animated series that touched on it a bit.

#16 Posted by saoakden (1220 posts) - - Show Bio

That was an interesting question about Bruce training as a teenager. I never really thought about it. I know they said he trained with people and came back to gotham to fight crime.

It would be cool to see Cable participate in AvX but since it ends next month, there is a good chance he won't show. It would be weird if he woke up and says he ready to fight only to find out the he slept through the whole thing or it could be funny. Who knows?

The female marvel heroes getting their own series came to me when Captain Marvel was announced and seeing Black Widow in action in The Avengers movie. Plus, other than Rogue being the main character in X-Men: Legacy and seeing the women in the team books, all the marvel books were a sausage feast.

#17 Posted by THEBATFoE (112 posts) - - Show Bio

Yes via Twitter. But its ok You have ALOT of questions to answer.

#18 Posted by SilentStrife88 (3 posts) - - Show Bio

This is for whoever asked about Batman comics of Bruce training to become Batman, I know of two that are pretty much "definitive" I guess is the best way to put it.

The Man Who Falls, shows Bruce's' training over the years very briefly, point of the whole issue so it touches on certain things.

Dectective Comics Annual from 1989, Blood Secrets. Introduces you to Bruce's first time training to become a detective.

Hope whomever asked see's this, they are good reads, the annual was one of the first comics I ever got, and its pretty cool to see a pissed off 17 year old Bruce fight in a bar brawl :)

Action figures aside, Maestro Hulk didn't kill most (if any) of those people. It was a nuclear war.

I saw the Spidey, Iron Fist, Doc Ock Lego on the shelves last week. It's out in South Dakota, so I hope you find it soon. It looked really cool!

#28 Posted by G-Man (39780 posts) - - Show Bio

@Pixel_Kaiser: Should be next week!

#29 Posted by thabigred (46 posts) - - Show Bio

Yeah as someone who consistently feels like 2000AD is the best comic in circulation each month, I have to say this looks both awesome and more authentic than the Stallone movie. I can't believe they'd actually do a good job but this trailer makes me quite hopeful.

As far as best superhero costume goes it's hard to beat a Lantern's costume. Since the costume is basically a construct, you get to change it to fit the occasion. Wedding later today? Ring: I need a tuxedo. Going to the gym? Ring: How about some running shorts and a t-shirt?

Maestro wouldn't be worthy to lift Mjolnir, nor should he be able to move it.

Also people should only ask one question, and should be able to string a coherent sentence. If they cannot then they should not ask one.

I heard the futurama theme tune in there.

#32 Posted by Grimoire (600 posts) - - Show Bio

Thanks for the answer. The World War Hulk storyline is my favorite but sadly I don't have anything with Maestro so I just wanted to know.

Good video like always.

If you go into the old DC Batman books....Bruce Wayne was in college before he decided to go a different route to fight crime. I don't remember where but there was a scene showing him in a law class and defining the difference between the law and justice. That's when he decide the law wasn't going to give people justice.....but they also having him training with a detective and being given the nickname Robin. Then he was a young teen.....
