Yes, get someone GOOD on Action Comics! Couldn't have said it better myself, G-Man!

the way i read it was that warner were the ones that wanted dicaprio for riddler. yeah, it's hard to follow up ledger's joker with riddler. even if they had gone with arkham city's riddler which was just outstanding.

i wish they would make a young avengers show or animated film, especially if it was handled right. however, they probably wouldn't because some jerks out there would make a fuss about wiccan and hulkling or something.

Nolan said that he wanted to challenge Batman on a different level than the Joker. Begins was Batman being challenged on a 'fear' level, Dark Knight was him being challenged on a 'code/psychological' level, Rises was him being challenged on a 'physical' level. He said that they had yet to have someone who could go up against Batman head-to-head. Riddler was too similar to the Joker.

Thanks for the video, G-Man. I love this.

I love the "Gorillaz" statues G-Man has in the case. ;3

Another great video. CGC comics can sell for a pretty penny. I liked Tony's expression when he mentioned John Romita Jr.'s art. I think that there will be a spike in CGC comics because of the popularity of digital comics.

@GBrutality: That's interesting. Thanks for the info.

You Didn't answer my question. :(

@RedheadedAtrocitus: Personally, I think they should call up Joe Kelly and see what he's currently doing Action #775 is one of the best Superman stories I've ever read.

Cool looking Necronomicon, make sure not to read from it. :)

#11 Posted by G-Man (31845 posts) - - Show Bio

I should note that there was a bit more meant to be at the end (hence the sorta strange outro). The footage got a little messed up so I'll have to re-answer those questions next week. :(

I would like to see Paul Cornell for AC. I liked his post-Blackest Night Lex Luthor story he did for AC before New 52.

#13 Posted by G-Man (31845 posts) - - Show Bio

@impudence: I thought of him too. But I liked his Lex Luthor stories better than his Superman ones.

Dicaprio is a great actor. I'm confident he could have done very well indeed.

I would love Marvel forever if they did a Young Avengers tv show. It needs to happen! XD

Great feature as always :)

Riddler would have been far better than Bane, even if Jim Carrey played him.

#18 Posted by impudence (4 posts) - - Show Bio

@G-Man: lol, fair enough.

''Is more like a Deadpool cartoon''

@GBrutality: This was just rumors according to what Nolan said in an interview.

Hey, thanks for answering my question...great video

It would be nice to see Riddler star in a Bat-Film again to challenge Batman mentally. Would be great to see his female bodyguards, Query & Echo, too.

I can't watch this one either. What questions were asked? Was there one from me?

#26 Posted by thatcoolguysteven (48 posts) - - Show Bio

I think Justin Jordan should write Action comics. he did an amazing job on hack/slash, and his book The Strange Talent of Luther Strode. He now is doing Team 7, which i have high hopes for.

The rumor was WB was pushing for Nolan to include The Riddler in TDKR. To which Nolan responded, "...Meh."

Nice call on the Oz trade. I love the classic series and I think it often gets overshadowed by the MGM film (which is great in its own right). From what I've seen they are well done and are introducing Oz in a new way to a new generation.

#29 Posted by G-Man (31845 posts) - - Show Bio

@sithfrog: I buy all the single issues (plus an extra copy for Vinny from Giant Bomb). When it comes out in hardcover, I buy it again.

@G-Man: It was Warner Bros and Legendary Pictures that suggested Leonardo DiCaprio as the Riddler but Christopher Nolan said no.
