WTF Marvel???!!!!

My hopes for this movie have steadily gone down from my ecstasy at hearing about the deal, then my disappointment at hearing about Spidey as a teen (AGAIN!) and now casting such an actor who is just... not Spidey....

Hopefully they prove me wrong, but I'm getting quite worried...

Please Marvel for the love of God, make Dylan O'brien Spider Man.

He looks 10 years old. I know they wanted to go with a young spiderman but holy f!ck he looks like he just started middle school.

Despite his look i wonder if he is a good actor.

Anyone ever seen The Road? This kid was in it and his character ruined the movie. He was so whiny and very annoying. I had trouble finishing the movie because of it. I hope he makes me forget about that with Spider-Man and I hope Marvel made a good choice.

"Hugo" was good. Check it out if you haven't seen it. I think the kid will be fine.

After the sony-marvel deal every news that's spidey-movie related has been disappointing so far.

Everyone complaining that he's too young has to remember that that's the point. Not too mention the movie is two years away... He ain't my first choice but its far from bad.

Everyone is aware Asa Butterfield is already 3 years older than they said they wanted their Spider-man to be, right? Asa is 18 years old, and he is supposed to be a 15 year old Peter Parker.

And if you're about to say, "But he looks younger than 18," no, he doesnt. If you arent 25+, look in the mirror, Asa is what you all look like to us.
