Okay, it has now been revealed that the actor by the name of J.R Ramirez will be palying wildcat-haven't uploaded a photo but google search him.

Right, CW is really grating on my man breasticles right now!!!! he is too young dammit!! not a good choice, ted is an older seasoned fighter that has seen n done it all n wears the tshirt!!! Im so angry, I need to go to my quiet place!!!

this is not cool beans. Why do they keep going for young actors these days n not stay in keeping with the comics??! I would have liked an older actor, Eric Roberts, joel Edgerton or Stephan lang!

It really depends on the episodes to me. Sometimes Felicity looks good, but others when she is all whiny she is worse, same with Laurel.

@theacidskull: Laurel's actress(Katie Cassidy) attracts me most followed by Jessica Degouw/Huntress. Shame their characters sucked so bad.

Not a great choice. I was hoping they'd go with someone who has more a grizzled, experienced fighter look. But I'm just glad that Wildcat is finally getting a live action appearance. I guess it will come down to where he decides to go with the portrayal.

What I'm the most curious about is the costume. They'd have to modernize it a bit but I hope they don't go overboard with it. Still have him resemble the comic character at least.

Ted Grant had to be young at one point

it's probably done for two reasons

1) they didn't want him to be old because they didn't feel that be realistic

2) love interest for Laurel

probably he'll mostly likely be a boxer still. That's why Stephen Amell tweeted that photo of him in a Boxer ring. He won't be a hero but will be in trouble with some bad guys and Arrow saves him and that what inspires him to become a hero. Just a guess.

That's kinda clich'e but I guess that's what you would expect from Arrow

either that or a Ollie just watches a boxing match and Ted will be fighting and it will just be a cameo
