It's not a movie, it's just a TV show. But yes, it is a separate entity that takes place in it's own universe outside of the DCCU in which the new DC movies like Batman V. Superman: Dawn of Justice take place.

Kinda agree. Smallville was terrible and I gave up on Arrow at the beginning of Season 3.

I guess they want to keep it separate so they could do a Crisis of Infinite Earths story line for a movie...

It will never be part of the movies.

@bloggerboy: why give up? lol but i was actually metioning how they have a flash , but want to do a flash move with a different actor , shazam is part of a different universe and wont be tied to their justice league movie series. at this point we will see countless origin films and some side films here and there . its kinda a mess.
