I need a new show to watch. Haven't seen any of either. Which one should I pick up? And by pick up I mean binge-watch on Netflix.
Arrow or Daredevil
@medusa_merc: It's a serious question? LOL Daredevull is the best superhero tv show ever. Arrow is just boring
Let me put it this way, the first season of Arrow was the best live-action superhero show ever...and the Daredevil came out and blew it out of the water. If you can only watch one, make it DD. If you can watch more than the one, first season of Arrow and maybe Agent Carter mini-series. Second season of Arrow is okay, but third has spiraled out of control and feels like it's lost its focus. The Flash started out annoying, but has turned around as of late. If you can make it through the first 6 or 7 episodes it gets good. Agents of Shield is very uneven. It started off rather mundane, but after The Winter Soldier, it got really good. The second half of this season, since returning after Agent Carter's run, hasn't grabbed me like the earlier shows. Even though there is a whole lot going on, I'm just not all that interested in it. It feels fractured, and I think that's going to get worse if the rumors of spin-off are true.
@medusa_merc: Daredevil is a better series to me, and I've watched all of seasons 1 and 2 of Arrow and almost half of season 3. If anything, watch Daredevil first because there's only one season right now so it'll go by quicker.
@the_stegman: Cause Fanboys feel the need to compare everything Marvel and DC??

That's me
@awesomeperson: Seriously! If he's gonna binge watch one, it won't take long. Go straight to the other I say.
Watch all CBTV show except for AoS LOL!
Come at me LOL!
Come at you for what? You're the one missing out on a good show.
As for the OP, If you can only watch one DD. That being said I'd recommend giving both a shot.
If you can, watch both. But, Daredevil is amazing and the best live action comic adaptation so far. Let's hope they don't ruin it.
@medusa_merc: Why not watch both? Would personally watch Daredevil (Arrow is slightly better imo) but just Daredevil has less episodes.
@medusa_merc: Daredeveil FTW!
I think the reason that I like Arrow so much more is that it has an actual story to tell. Daredevil focuses entirely on its tone and atmosphere, it doesn't really have an interesting story to tell. Arrow on the other hand, is like straight out of a comic book. That's what makes it so much more emotional and intense for me.
I actually started watching DD and i got really disappointed. Feels more like a crime series that superhero stuff. Tho i guess my disappointment stemmed from the overhype here on CV.
Season 1 of Arrow was mindblowingly good. I loved it couldnt wait for more. Now it fell off significantly.
@medusa_merc: The costume's awesome. Wtf are you talking about?
Both are good shows, hard to choose one over the other, Arrow was at its best when it involved Deathstoke.
Daredevil stompadomps. Better characters with better development, much better acting, MUCH better choreography. The show made me want to read DD. Daredevil isn't trying to be some other character in the Marvel universe.
Daredevil is so overrated its ridiculous. Its filled with terrible acting, and unintentionally funny scenes. I can't see it appealing to anyone who isn't a die-hard MCU fan. So if you're a die hard MCU fan, then watch Daredevil. If you're anyone else, watch Arrow or the Flash.
Oh what scenes are those? I hardly remember laughing at all when I first watched Season 1. The only times I did was the dialogue between Matt, Foggy, and Karen. Which was humorous and helped deviate from the serious ton. As for terrible acting, explain. I'm hardly a Marvel fan at all outside being a fan of a few B listers and two A listers.

Foggy is a terrible actor. The opening scene of the pilot episode has absolutely awful acting, the one where Foggy is talking to a police officer. And I usually don't notice bad acting, but this was so bad even I had to notice it.
As for unintentionally funny scenes, the fight scene in the pilot where Daredevil gets up and spits out obviously fake blood that doesn't even look like blood made me laugh.
@superadam: Foggy is awkward. I'm not sure if he's like that in the comics but in the show it's basically his staple. These sound more like nitpicks than anything.

Well, people have different tastes and stuff. What might be "nitpicky" to one person could be a huge flaw to someone else. I can't understand how people can like Daredevil. But that might have to do with me viewing it as someone who generally doesn't like Marvel. Whereas someone who loves Marvel might view the whole thing in a completely different light.
Like if there was a box that was half white and half black. Someone viewing the box from the white side might only see a little black visible, and assume the box is mostly white. Whereas someone viewing it from the black side might only see a little white, and assume the box is mostly black. Its the same object, but its the setting that its viewed in that shapes the person's view of it. If that makes sense.
