Thoughts?
Arkham Knight Rated M?
Probably for the best, it will give them more control.
Exactly. Ratings are a hindrance.
Arkham City probably could've been rated M. No surprise the series was heading in that direction, especially with the inclusion of Red Hood, Deathstroke, and a villain like the Arkham Knight.
Deathstroke would've been a better playable character for sure if WB Montreal went this route with Origins.
Sounds interesting. In preview screenshots, I thought that Arkham Asylum would be M, but I think some content was scaled down. To me, making it M gives the creators more freedom to do whatever they want.
Aren't all Arkham games rated M?
The Arkham series has been rated T thus far.
But there aren't any s** right? lol
What is the word you are censoring? Sex? In that case, no.

It also encourages restraint among many developers and publishers. FTR, that isn't a bad thing.
Not saying one thing or another on the M rating being good or bad, but if someone's standard of game to be of the best (not just best within parameters) quality is dependent on it having an M rating (same principle goes for the movie R rating), then at best, your range of tastes are narrow-minded.
@marvete_e_dcnauta: Yeah I was just kidding but thanks. I wasn't 101% sure. I might be downloading it from Steam.......when I get a decent laptop.

Oh baby, you don't game(decently) using a laptop.
@reactor: I see what you mean. An "M" rating does not a mature game make. Maturity is found in the storytelling. For example, plenty of hyper violent movies are far more childish than the Toy Story trilogy. But if ratings were removed, nobody would pay attention to them, and we may have less people overlooking "E for everyone" games.
@reactor: The games out in few months and is for the most part already done and yet they were surprised by the rating. So it clearly couldn't have had a negative impact on it. The reason I'm saying it's for the better is because when they were making it, they clearly were focused on what they wanted with the story and given rocksteady's track record, that's a good thing.
