Are you affraid of Bat Fan-Boys? no hate thread

It seem's like people are affraid to say what needs to be said about some of the ridiculous things that they believe batman can do, such as defeat anyone with prep time etc....Most of the time from what I've seen, for every 1 comment about what Batman can't do theeir are 7-10 angry comments about what he can do. Yes, I've fell prey to thismany times, one time I got a whole dictionary typed out about why Batman could etc........You know what at the end of the day I'm not affraid, are you? I still believe my heroes are the best.Keep expressing yourself!

It was the first thing I noticed when I joined this site. Annoying is annoying. -_-

They over promote Batman here!

Is it really that bad?

I tend to run into people alot who hates Batman because others love him, rarely does it seem like people honestly dislike the character.. Rather they want to go against the stream, or maybe bitterness because the character is loved by so many.

I like Batman, I dont think he is god, just a good superhero.

I see the opposite --- this site does seem to be heavily biased when it comes to Batman, and in his favour. For every person who expresses dislike for the character, you have some people (a lot of people) who just lose their minds. Wolverine is in my top tier and he's hated on far more than Batman and I don't feel like running to his defense when the reasons are ridiculous. If it sounds like someone is hating on a character because of bitterness, its pretty obvious.

I think its popular to hate on popular superheroes,just as it is popular to see fan boys defend them to such ridiculous lengths as well.

Though many of the main superheroes get these treatments as well,such as Spiderman,Hulk,Superman Iron Man,Wolverine etc.Its probably because they attract the most attention,good bad or just plain creepy they do because they are popular and in many ways Icons.All have fan boys and haters.

Batman happens to be my favourite superhero.

They can be bad on this site, but no worse than Superman fanboys(me), Storm fanboys and a few other select heroes with ridiculous followings.

In their defense, Batman is awesome and he DOES win. :D

No hate, but TECHNICALLY Batman isn't even a SUPERhero because he has no SUPER powers, which I think is the reason so many people love him. None the less, Batman fan boys do tend to enjoy raging at anyone who doesn't agree with them. This isn't necessarily frightening, as much as just frustrating. I'm giving my opinion calmly with supported reasons for it, why are you so angry?

I'm personally not a fan of Batman, BUT I do believe he has some of the best villains. Lucky bat.

Dr. Doom fans are just as bad, there may not be as many of them as there are Batman fans but they are just as annoying in the things they think their favorite character can do. Seriously people think Batman with prep is overrated? Doom fans think if you give him 5 minutes of prep he could solo Galactus and Thanos. People don't call out Doom fans because he isn't as popular as other people with annoying fans (like Batman, Wolverine, Superman, Storm, etc) because we all know it's so cool to hate on what's popular. Trust me if Doom was a character people outside of comic book readers cared about him and his fans would get a lot more hate than they do now.

Fan-boys that have valid proof and arguments i'm fine with. Its the ones that spout "Batman would win with prep" or stuff similar to that with nothing to back it up with. I don't know how many times i've called people out on this and got this type of reply: "I don't but how but he's Batman! With prep he'd figure it out!"

Ones who actually reply with valid arguments I have no problem with.
