Are the powerpuff girls kryptonian?

They have similar powers to krptonians they are super strong and have heat vision and freeze breath and can withstand massive amounts of damage the full extent of their powers have never been shown so I was wondering if they could be krytonian

What if Chemical X is a strand of Kryptonian genome...? But for licensing purposes the creators couldn't say that and instead secretly labeled it "Chemical X".
