Hey,
Was hoping to get some recommendations of what you guys have been reading, hopefully I'll discover a new series to dive into.

I've pretty much got my ear to the ground when it comes to super hero comics trying to get more into non-super ones.
I've really enjoyed reading

Saga
The Wicked + The Divine
Rat Queens
American Vampire
FBP
Southern Bastards
The Wake

I've tried getting into Sex Criminals, East of West and Satellite Sam but they didn't really do it for me. Guess I'm looking for some lesser known comics that are really good.

I second Prophet.

Nailbiter and The Bunker are also very good.

Have you read any Valiant? There are some superhero elements to their universe, but at the same time it has a very different feel than DC or Marvel.

I'd suggest Green Arrow 17-34 (both The Kill Machine, and The Outsiders War are out in trades)

most things I get that aren't marvel/dc are limited series

@xwraith: No haven't read any Valiant stuff. Superhero wise I tend to enjoy reading about the heroes I knew as a kid. The familiarity / nostalgia always seems to win out. Though I am in love with Ed Brubaker / Matt Fraction / David Aja's Immortal Iron Fist and the current Hawkeye and Daredevil runs.

Going to look into those mentioned earlier. Just picked up Nailbiter, I'll let you know what I think of it.
