Are there any Hero/Villain(s) that you feel are overpowered in the Marvel or Dc universe and could use some nerfing because their just to damn powerful?
Any Hero/Villain(s) that you feel are just too overpowered?
I think d.c dropped their o.p version when bringing in the new52, but marvel still has some
That's true I do feel they nerfed their whole cast quite a bit.
The Sentry, every time he appears the only person who can stop him is himself. It always seems like the writers got carried away when they were righting his power set and don't know what to do with him now.
I have actually never seen him in a comic yet.
Molecule Man is one of the really over-powered villain, whose only limitations were the ones he consciously choose to have.
When the very laws of physics are yours to play with and you are designated as a marvel earth villain normally far away from cosmic character, it’s the definition of over-powered. They had to make him no so evil, not so good, because he was too powerful to be a complete villain or a perfect hero.
I got an overpowered character for you guys, Franklin Richards.
got shorted out when he reformed galactus.

Forgot about him, I was reading his wiki page the other day and at one point he's calmly hanging out with, and chatting to Eternity and the Living Tribunal! Not bad for a street level crim!
There are plenty of characters that people will say are way too OP, but in general, no one is that OP in their respective comics. I mean, every hero & villain is usually put to the test whenever they try to deal with someone.
This.
@kyrees: Reformed?
Dunno how so. Flash is interpreted to be overpowered or not?
Is Flash's top-end feats considered PIS and only his regular feats to be used - Which means he regularly tackles with street-level rogues?
Or are his top-end feats considered consistent and thus should be interpreted as overpowered?
Guys take your pick.
@richardcranium: They explain this in the Flash comic, he can access near unlimited power since he is a living nexus of dimensional power, but that's extremely dangerous/unstable power. To deal with this Flash limits his maximum speed to about 80% so he dosen't cause any problems.
@bossdarksied355: galactus was destroyed by SS, the shiar empire and earth's heroes with the help of his planet destroying machines however that proved dangerous since abraxas appeared so franklin and valeria richards exhausted their powers to reform galactus
@kyrees: Ah I never read that one.
AMAZO doesn't make sense, how could a human scientist create an android that could copy and enhance the powers of any number of superhumans? it needs limits or a specific template. other than that don't have a problem with many
usually the really powerful characters are plot devices if they are in other people's stories
