Am i the only one who thinks supervillians are way cooler than the heroes?
I like a lot of villians. Theyre more compelling to me, and more flawed. Especially those who curb the line between full blown villian and anti-hero, like Sinestro, Black Adam, pre new 52 Jason Todd, and Magneto. Plus ultra ideologists like Joker and Two-Face. Crazy is awesome.

This.
depends on the hero and the villain for instance Dr. Doom is far cooler that Mr. Fantastic but Penguin is nowhere near as cool as Batman
I prefer Batman over Joker, Captain Marvel over Black Adam, Superman over Lex Luther and Spider-man over
Green Goblin.
I'm having a hard time thinking of a villain I prefer over the hero.
I tend to like villains, but I like heroes too. It depends on the character/design/powers I suppose.
It's not an absolute thing as there are some heroes that are much cooler than villains but it's more of a majority thing.
- Sith > Jedi
- Empire > Republic
- Klingon > Federation
- Goa'uld > SG-1
- Moriarty > Sherlock
- Zeon > Federation
- Mordor/Isengard > Gondor/Rohan
- Helghast > ISA
- Sephiroth > Cloud
- Magneto > Charles
- Dr. Doom > Mr. Stretchy face
- Dark Phoenix > Green Phoenix
- Void > Sentry
The list goes on and on and on....
Always had more of a fascination with the villain than the hero ever since I was a kid.
Doc Ock with Spidey.
Joker with Batman.
Lex Luthor with Superman.
Shredder with TMNT. ect ect.
Well, My favorite characters from both universes are Evil. So I think evil. But if it makes it better, neither of them would be created if their hero counter parts weren't made.
As far as i'm concerned my general trend is:
Anti-Hero's (Spawn, Midnighter, Scarlet Spider etc..) > Villains>Heros
@DoctorOctopus: How can you say Doc Ock is cooler than Spiderman? I could understand Venom or Lizard even Green Goblin but Ock?

I mentioned a fascination more than I think who's cooler. However, the early 1990's Spidey comics certainly have an influence on me as that's essentially when I became a regular reader and was coincidentally the time where Ock was typically wearing Armani suits, sported a adamantium harness, beat the stuffing out of the Professor Hulk/Iron Man, was involved with Stunner (virtual body and all, but what a virtual body!), and admittedly, I always liked how Erik Larsen and Mark Bagley draw Ock. :)
@immortalone: Im more of a superman fan myself
Your not the only one.
I personally prefer superheroes in general although there are a few villains that I like better.
Villains are boss, but I very rarely actually want them to win. Because, you know... They're villains.
