He's so boring!!
Am i the only one who hates Hal Jordan?
@tank_boy: Death Of Hal Jordan is what DC needs. AND NO STUPID RETCON. STAY DEAD
@eisenfauste: lelz
@dernman: Troll thread? I was just stating my ducking opinion...
Well...Hal Emerald Action Team (H.E.A.T) is one of the most influential movement in comics. So if you love the characters so much, just make John Stewart Movement, protest and riot in front of Warner Bros HQ
I don't hate him, but he's not interesting either.
There are literally over 7000+ of him. At least Guy has a personality quirk.
@thecowwasdelirious: Is it because of his movie? lol.
I don't hate him, I just don't like him. I find him bland, because the way Johns written him. So i find him the most dull and boring out of the other GLs. And he's gotten worse under Geoff Johns in the New 52. Robert Venditti also made Hal weak, unintelligent and incompetent (even Hal Jordan fans don't like how Hal's character is written under Robert Venditti, so that should tell you something) that's added onto Jordan's negatives. His personality has been inconsistent throughout the years. I think Guy, John and Kyle are more interesting characters than Hal Jordan.
@thecowwasdelirious: That's like asking, "am I the only one who hates the Green Lantern movie?"
- TAS
I'm indifferent toward him. I haven't been exposed to his character enough to form a valid opinion.
Pretty much this.
My go-to Lantern is John Stewart, but that's the character I grew up watching as Green Lantern. Could have just as easily been Guy or Kyle. I can't say I hate Hal.
never liked lanterns. I found them boring.
All the Green Lanterns are boring.
These guys get it.
@thecowwasdelirious: Martian man hunter is way worse
Hal is the least interesting of the whole lot.
I used to really dislike Half Jordan, now he's just there. Not that interesting, but not entirely boring.
@omniawesomeness: leave please
@mortal: Haven't even seen it.
@ariesxmasters: he has no personality whatsoever.
@regiebravo: more or less, but Hal is just unbearable...
Grew up with John Stewart, so he's my fave (not because I'm black, ya racists!)
Never saw any reason to hate Hal though (apart from the crappy personality in JL: War).
And the Lantern Oath Ability has always been one of my favourites.
I really don't understand how someone can call Hal Jordan uninteresting and boring then cite John Stewart as the best GL.
@thecowwasdelirious: Jimmies rustled, I knew it
@omniawesomeness: you did it
@jestersmiles: he didn't take Kyles spotlight. Kyle stopped selling the way he did in his earlier career so they pushed him off to the side and were most likely set on making John Stewart the primary Green Lantern (they had already replace Kyle with John in the Justice league comic). Then Geoff Johns came along and used Hal instead.

True. But where did you get the part where they had plans of replacing Kyle with John Stewart when Kyle's title was underselling? Was this some kind of rumor?
IIRC Kyle was replaced by John Stewart in the JLA comic, due to his exposure in the JL/JLU cartoons.
The only time I found Hal even remotely interesting is when he went nuts killed everyone and did the whole Zero Hour event. I actually started reading GL with Kyle for a few years. But with the whole it wasn't really Hal he was possessed retcon I just said forget it.
I don't like hal, neither can i say i hate him, but am sure i don't like him, even though he is most powerful, he is childish(sort of).
And for the user who said cyborg should go of the league, cyborg is very useful but people don't notice it, maybe because he is being taken advantage off.
