I keep my comics inside a plastic chest in my room upstairs. It does get hot during the summer like 84 degrees in my room. If I have these comics out of the light, and in the chest that might be cooler because it would be pitch black inside, am I preserving correctly enough? We started to rent out our basement, so I had to move my comic room into my room upstairs.

@krunkeela: But you're completely ignoring the common comic-eating spiders that reside in most upstairs rooms.. and not to mention comics become afraid of the dark and begin to whither! You gotta open the window and keep your comics exposed to sunlight.. that way they get their required amount of Vitamin D every day! And make sure you don't use plastic. Some comic books are allergic to plastic.

Just kidding. You're good.

Sincerely,
