Guy Smith is my favorite. I also like Tike Alicar, Doop, Prof Xavier, maybe The Spike, and the others. I like Superman, but for no particular reason. (I guess I just like the idea and the design) I admire Magneto for looking out for mutants, he doesn't even seem like a villain to me aside from the whole hating humans part. I'm pretty sure I will like the new Starfire, honestly she seems like a great character. I might end up liking Batman but only in anything Justice League related, because it's neat to see how makes himself useful when working alongside heroes with actual powers. (Now that I mention it, I found Robin very cool in the Teen Titans cartoon. I was curious about his rebooted Teen Titans iteration.) Doctor Doom is a cool design, but from what I read he is pretty evil and not as interesting a character as he seems. Cloak and Dagger are pretty cool. Green Goblin is pretty competent for a psychopath.

I read Spawn as a kid, but I have no feelings for it today.

I just love their individual mythos and how they branch down to expand to open up wider universes for each character. 

1. Difficult, I'd say Batman.

2. Deathstroke (though I often switch between him and Bruce Wayne for number 1 favorite stand-alone character!).

3. Iron Man.

5. Supergirl.

6. Nightwing.

7. Captain America.

8. The Joker.

9. Superman.

If I were allowed to include teams, the Teen Titans pre-New 52 would be at the top, instead of Batman. Batman is one of my favorite single characters, but I love the dynamics, dialogue and teamwork between the Teen Titans. Avengers would be tied with Justice League for second place, and then Batman, Deathstroke etc...
