Yeah that's what I heard.a friend of mine told me its like a n64 game
That would be an insult to N64 games. At least they are classics and where great for their time. And stay away from it, else it might lay it's eggs in you.

It wasn't Sega's fault.
Gearbox is sadly to blame here.
I hear they used the money given to them for Colonial Marines to make Borderlands2, and that they'd done something like that in the past too for Borderlands 1 or Duke Nukem Forever. After that, not telling the truth about the game at E3 and Duke Nukem Forever, I don't think they can get away with it this time.

Good review, but here's a more acurate one.
Honestly I'm enjoying it so far. The atmosphere doesn't draw you in like everybody has been hoping an Aliens game some day actually will and like all other aliens games their attacks look weird but it's still fun. I'd put it around the 60/100 mark but would recommend playing it with a mate. It's a lot more engaging with a friend playing next to you.
The best thing this game has going for it is its audio and soundtrack. The smart gun sounds exactly like it did in the movie...other than that I'm kind of unimpressed and let down by this game. I was hoping this would be more of a survival horror game then a straight up shooter. If your thinking of getting this game just save your money.
This game is a HUGE disappoinment and was mishandled by Gearbox. They outsourced the development of the game to company called Timegate (I believe they're called) so they could focus on Borderlands 2, and it's just nowhere near what it should be. The graphics are outdated, the enemy A.I. is pretty bad and the story is kinda "meh". The only saving grace for this title is sound effects (pulse rifle and motion detector are classics sounds) and music score are straight out of ALIENS. Had Geabox just finished Borderlands 2 and then dove deep into making ALIENS:CM the best it can be, this game would be the game all ALIENS fans have been starving for......after 5-6yrs of waiting for this thing, it's just sooooooooo disappointing -_-
@YourNeighborhoodComicGeek: well thanks to that review i will kill myself now. I wasted $60 on Diblo 3 which was a epic fail. Glad to see the only other game I wanted to spend cash on sucks. one of the reasons I think Video Games suck so much now. Same problem with the awsome single player of Mass Effect 3 but asscraptic multi player. UUUGGGGG.
@CadenceV2: Its just so bad. AVP 2010 was so much better its not even funny.
@CadenceV2: Yeah I played a few missions but after that I was like "uughhhh.....more?"
@YourNeighborhoodComicGeek: Still the standard tho so outdated in controls now.
Thats when you say "Oh ****!"
@CadenceV2:
To be honest the graphics from the 2000 game don't look too much different from Aliens : Colonial Marines
Its just...why....they could have just delayed it and made a far better product.
If there was a 360/PC port that had modern controls I would play the heck out of that.
@YourNeighborhoodComicGeek: They could have remade the 2000 classic with better controls, graphics, Multuplayer capable, and a few new abilities (like the kill shots) and It would have sold more.
@CadenceV2: Or at least an Xbox Live Arcade/Playstation Network re-release with improved graphics and controls. I mean look at what 343 did with Halo : Anniversary.
