After Hal Jordan, the definitive Green Lantern. Kyle?, John?, Alan? Guy...HAHA ok not Guy.
After Hal who's the most important Green lantern?
Kyle. Then Stewart. Then Alan.
Guy isn't even on the radar.

Pretty much this.

Hold on, isn't Kyle a white Lantern ?
Kyle single handedly carried on the Corps after Hal flipped his s**t. Without any formal training either.
@thing150: Eh, I'd always put Hal above Kyle both power-wise and character.
Jmarshmallow
@mister_x_1: He has been, yes.
Why do you ask?
Jmarshmallow
well, he is still a white lantern.....right ?
Kyle. Then Stewart. Then Alan.BATMAN!
Guy isn't even on the radar.

kyle is a thousand times more creative then hal...if he had the amount of experience hal does, hal would not be needed
in a fight i think they would stalemate(if they both only had a green ring)
character wise kyle is much deeper than hal
@thing150: Kyle is more creative, but Hal has more Willpower than any other Lantern, bar none.
In a fight, Hal would whoop Kyle.
Which one is a better character is subjective, but I for one would say Hal.
Jmarshmallow
@mister_x_1: Currently? I don't believe so.

Because if he is, I don't think that DC can give attention as a green lantern.

I'm surprised you count JC. Considering her ring isn't a Green Lantern power ring, but The Ring of Volthoom, from Earth-3. Also surprised to see Alan ahead of John, but I find them to be able to switch out. I'd even say Simon is just slightly ahead of Guy. (Makes me wonder why he was even created in the first place.)

"hal has more willpower than any other lantern" that is also subjective......kyle has very strong willpower also...after having multiple loved ones of his dying he never gave up
even if hal has greater willpower kyle is much more gifted in all other aspects of the emotional spectrum

This!
Kyle did receive some training from Alan before the corps got reformed. And he received full corps training right after the DC relaunch.

My reasoning for Jessica is because even though she's a Power Ring and not a Green Lantern, it's being considered as a potato/potahto situation. She has the "Green Lantern" slot on the JL and will most likely be treated as such in the comics, which is why I consider her a Lantern, that and she is one, just not of the will power variety. As for Alan being ahead of John, Alan was the first GL and has a ton of history and a certain amount of importance within the DCU while as John, in my honest opinion, is only considered a "top" GL is because he was lucky enough to make the cut on the JL/JLU tv show.
@arturocalakayvee: Jake totally loves Simon
@dagmar_merrill: But he wasn't sh!t-talking Baz, he's just saying he's unimportant. He's incorrect of course, but it wasn't like a personal attack against him.

I know, I just wanted to see if I could get you to go off on him though. >:D

His rants are ineffective towards me. Lets not revisit the DS/DSG war of a few days ago.
@arturocalakayvee: Oh sweetie, that was nothing.
@jaken7: Ineffective!
@arturocalakayvee: But taking account their history, then arguably Alan should either be number one or number two alternating with Hal. As for John, I don't think there's anything wrong with him being considered a top Lantern because he was in the JL series. It's like saying Hal is only top Lantern because he gets all the amazing stories based on him. Everyone breaks out in their own way, and it's not like it was a bad thing.
@arturocalakayvee: Ok, well Baz is absolutely vital to the GLC in case you cared.
@jaken7: In what way? Other than he's wearing a fake ring.

I switch 5 and 6 around but other then that it's better much what I think.

It's not subjective at all. Hal has feats of Willpower FAR beyond any other Lantern. The only one that comes close to him is Stewart, but even he can't compete with Hal.
We're talking about a guy who in his rookie years of being a GL was able to match Zero Hour Parallax. Parallax. A multiversal being.
Or kill Krona. An actual Guardian. He overpowered his own ring in order to kill a Guardian of the Universe.
Who else has Willpower feats on par with that?
I'll tell you who: no one. And especially not Kyle.
Now Kyle is more creative, sure. But he'd still get beaten soundly by Hal.
Jmarshmallow
@arturocalakayvee: His ring isn't fake.
Anyways, he is THE Green Lantern now. For all intents and purposes, and in the context of what the role was originally created for, he is Green Lantern. Hal struck a deal with Gardner that even though Earth was now under the jurisdiction of the Reds, he could still station Baz there as an ambassador, the GLC's presence on Earth, and the protector of Hal's family. Simon is the only Green Lantern actually fighting crime on Earth. In GL #29 we see Hal introducing Simon to his brother and his brother's family, and Hal lets them know Simon will look after them now. Hal's brother mentions how his kids miss their uncle, and that now they only see news reports with Simon Baz on TV.
Beyond that, Simon will be training Jessica Cruz, and she is now the member of the Justice League that fills up the ringbearer slot.
Not to mention that he is incredibly unique, had a grasp on his ring without formal training faster than any other Green in recent memory, and was able to do things no other Green Lantern has ever been able to do. That would be his healing. He was able to wake his brother-in-law up from a vegetative coma, and nearly resurrected the billions of people on Korugar (as well as the planet itself) when he tried on the White Lantern ring.
Like I said, Baz is important.
Simon Baz & Jessica "Sexy as hell" Cruz still need some development, so they do not belong in this conversation yet. After Hal, it's Kyle then John. Ever since the new 52, I've been a fan of Guy.
Kyle. Then Stewart. Then Alan.
Guy isn't even on the radar.
