Action Comics (pre n52)

Since I've read Action Comics 866-870 (Brainiac) by Geoff Johns & Gary Frank I was wondering if the issues before that story are worth collecting, for example, issue 858-865

I definitely recommend Last Son, Escape from Bizarro World and Superman and the Legion of Superheroes! They're my favorite Superman stories ever written alongside Brainiac!
