A Thor question

Can Thor project lightning from mjolnir, or does he need to summon it from the sky, cause I have never actually seen him "shooting" lightning from mjolnir before.

I mean something like this, but in the comics

And it would be awesome if you could post some scans

Yeah he can shoot lightning directly from the hammer, he even has special kinds of bolts stored in the hammer.
