That's just my opinion, though. I'm going off what I know about it. I could definitely be wrong, but that's how I remember it.

It's not like you see Superman making any big advances for his character either, aside from Injustice.

@limpoyzloan: Actually, Superman's debating for whether he's straying on the path of righteous or wrong is pretty frequent. He started as a completely different character without much morality, and totally evolved from that.

From the start, he had no idea what to do with his power as a kid, and then he evolved into one of the best protecters of the Earth. I mean, I could go on a list of things on how his character has developed and he wasn't always the ultimate hero. Especially with the differences he has with the government whether or not he should stay true to them.

There's alot of development with Superman throughout the ages, personality wise, beliefs, I could go on. With Goku, I've seen the same sacrificing ultimate hero with a goofy bland personality throughout the entire series. Like I said, I could be wrong with that.

@sideburnguru: Kid Goku had a lot more character development, so I guess that's why you see no character development in DBZ. Probably because Akira Toriyama had no idea what direction to go for him besides playing the hero.
