I don't read Marvel much, so if someone could clear up these questions for me. I just finished reading Civil War.

(1) Is it canon?

(2) If so, what was the aftermath? What happened after the Civil War?

(3) Are there still superhero teams sanctioned by the government in current Marvel comics?

(4) Did you agree with Tony or Cap?

(5) Did Tony do this with any malicious intent?

Answers would be appreciated!

@laidblack: Can you go into detail? Your post is pretty useless as is.

@imthedamnbatman:

@laidblack pretty much answered your questions. I wouldn't ask who we agreed with, though. It'll will most likely start a flame war.

Well, as far as aftermath, you might want to check out The Death of Captain America and Dark Reign. I haven't read the last one but from what I understand it's pretty important.

Secret Avengers is a government sanctioned team. From what I hear their current title is pretty good.

1) Yes, but no one wants it to be.

2) Tony Stark becomes director of SHIELD, Captain America is assassinated, and everyone else lives happily ever after.

3) Yes.

4) Iron Man.

5) He believed that the registration act was a societal evolution.

Ah. Well then, like @awesam said, Tony Becomes director of S.H.I.E.L.D, Cap is assassinated and Norman Osborn made the Thunderbolts a federal agency.

I would still suggest you read the stories that actually deal with the aftermath. The Death Of Captain America is particularly good.

@awesam: So that's how Tony became director....and that's why Cap wasn't in World War Hulk.

1) Yes it is

2)Spiderman: Back to Black after Aunt May is shot in consequence of Peter reviling his secret identity, Fallen Son: The Death of Captain America after Civil War Steve is assasinated anf Bucky takes his place as Cap, Storm and Black Panther with the Fantastic Four (after their discussions in Civil war Reed and Sue decided to take a second honey moon) , Tony is named director of S.H.I.E.L.D and the most hated person in USA.

3) Yes most of the pro-registration some times are called for missions

4) I agree with Cap the secret identity should stay secret

5) No he tought that he was doing the right thing
