How is it that the heroes on earth can stand up to a celestial? I just finished reading Uncanny Avengers. In this Arc, earth's heroes are able to kill Elixir the Executioner. Which is ridiculous if you ask me. Odin with all of the powers of Asgard couldn't even accomplish this feat, so how could earths heroes? Maybe because its earth? Anyone that tries to take earth over always fail. Its sounds farfetched buts that's the only conclusion I could come up with. This first part might be able to be justified, but this second part cant. How is the DS Sentry able to stop Elixir's decent? Rouge with all of earths heroes powers couldn't stop him, so how can the Sentry? This is the first time I have ever seen one character basically stalemate a celestial. How could marvel make their strongest characters look like jokes? This is just one fans rant. I haven't figured out how to put pictures up yet so I couldn't add any. If any could answer break it down for me I would appreciate it greatly.
To sum it up:
1) How can earths heroes stand up to a celestial?
2) How could DS Sentry over power a celestial?
3) Is this Uncanny Avengers arc real? Or is it like a "what if?"
