Id disagree, you can watch glorified Ninjas fight anywhere, movies, tv shows, etc, but you can only get giant Super Human battles in comic books (until MoS of course).

It's not even about glorified ninjas. Look at the Joker vs Batman in death in the family. That was an epic fight based mostly on the mind.
Eh. Had some choices that I wouldn't necessarily consider 'best battles' so much as 'best moments' - like Bats shooting DS or punching Gardner. Aquaman vs public perception just seemed weird.
I was kinda expecting epic fights to be chronicled here. Luthor vs Supes in All-Star...it's great writing and a fantastic moment, but it doesn't exactly spring to mind when I think of the best battles in DCU history. Sinestro Corps War and the DKR battles are more in line with what I expected.

Seriously, not even a mention of the final battle between Bruce and Jean-Paul Valley in LOTDK #64 that ended the Knightfall saga? That was one of the best battles in comic book history.
