2013 Eisner Award Poll

Hnn. Unsurprisingly, the only superhero nomination is Hawkeye, and even then you'd be hard-pressed to label it a superhero book. Not saying that the nominees didn't deserve it, just making an observation. Past years seemed to have been friendlier to straight-up superhero titles.

I am enjoying the most Saga.Saga should win.

Well, as you mentioned, DD. I feel both New Avengers and Batman deserved nominations, but that's just me. Again, not critiquing the choices being made here. Just noting the lack of a traditional superhero book, is all.

Saga and Hawkeye is all over the Eisners this year........

USM actually got an Eisner nomination last year I think - was quite surprised by that one.

Well Ultimate Spidy is pretty good not sure its Eisner worthy though

New Avengers deserves to be here.

I'm not qualified to vote, but from what I've seen I say Hawkeye

Hickman's already got one nomination no need to be greedy

I'm really rooting for Saga. If Hawkeye wins I'll be satisfied as well, but I think Saga deserves it most

Pfft should be more votes for Fatale

Fatale is good but I think the other titles deserve the award more.

I think its the best one there but I'm Brubaker/noir fanboy

Saga will probably win....I think it is the most hyped indie comic.
I feel so bad because i don't read any of these

Indestructible Hulk should've been nominated. Hope Hawkeye wins though.

Read the first trade, it was pretty interesting. Although I honestly don't know why the creator didn't use an original character instead of Prophet.

One of these days I'll read Saga. One of these days....

What is it basically about?

The only book I'm not reading on that list is Prophet. Guess I'll have to pick that one up. Hawkeye or Saga will probably win, you can't go wrong with either of them.

What's there not to get? It's pretty straightforward. Read it again then? :p

A sci-fi series of different Prophets (super-soldiers) on missions in the future.
