“Dad! DAD!” screamed Arthur as he tore through the mansion he called home. He burst into his father’s games grotto to find his father, Thomas Orwell, playing the prototype of the latest Call of War God on his 3D cinema screen.
“DAD!”
“Oh man!” grumbled Thomas pulling off the headset “Didn’t save”
“It’s Blair!”
Thomas dropped everything and raced with his son outside to see his terrified little girl, standing on the surface of the swimming pool.
“Wow” said Thomas “Are you okay honey?”
“What’s happening to me dad?” cried Blair
“Well you know how I always said you were special” Thomas held out his hand for his daughter and pulled his mobile phone out of his pocket “I wasn’t lying”

“There is nothing wrong with your daughter” said Dr Schultz “Well that may not be entirely true but on a health level, she’s fine just undergoing puberty”
“She walked across a swimming pool!” said Thomas pacing back and forth in the office.
“Ahh” Dr Schultz pushed his glasses up “Well”
“Well what?”
“It seems a side effect of the genetic procedures we performed upon your children and hundreds of others has granted them abilities beyond than of us” Dr Schultz smiled and continued “Mere mortals. You should be happy Mr Orwell”
“How?” asked Thomas slumped into a chair “How is it…possible?”
“Divine intervention, next level of evolution, I don’t know Mr Orwell. It will be for other, younger scientists to work out” Dr Schultz took a seat at his desk and took a sit of his coffee “But it seems to be linked to puberty; in my professional opinion”
“I’d like you to work for me” said Thomas
“I’m not for sale Mr Orwell”
“Doctor, everyone’s for sale” smiled Thomas “Look you made my three kids. You know them, well genetically speaking. Please”
“You don’t hear no very often do you Mr Orwell”
“Doctor Schultz, until I got money, all I ever heard was no” Thomas stood up and dropped a blank cheque onto the doctors desk “Fill it out and pack your bags for the tropics when you change your mind. Thank you doctor”
Dr Schultz watched one of the richest men in the world leave his office as he picked up the cheque. The old doctor smiled as he folded the cheque into his top pocket.

“Alright!” yelled Arthur as he took to the air like a bullet. Thomas watched in amazement as his eldest boy soared into the air. His daughter Blair watched on.
“I told you it was linked to puberty” stated Dr Schutlz as he looked on, looking a tad more casual and relaxed
“So what can I expect from Eric?” asked Thomas
“There seems to be no pattern to these powers Mr Orwell. Just look at that French boy who can grow extra arms”
“Thomas, call me Thomas Benjamin”
“Mr Orwell your daughter has some speed to her and the ability to negate gravity and inertia” he looked over at the stunningly beautiful young lady hovering inches above the ground watching her brother do loop-de-loops in the air “Arthur has the ability, as we can see, to fly but further testing and we’ll see what other powers he may have. As for Eric” He looked over to the dark haired little boy pushing a toy truck through a sandpit “Let him be a child”
“Look at me dad!” screamed Arthur excietedly as he shot across the sky.

Eric Orwell stood in the hallway, three larger boys blocking his way.
“Excuse me please” he said quietely in French
“Or what?” said Dragan Kopin III, the only child on oil magnate Dragan Kopin II
“Yeah or what?” echoed Daniel Duncan, the fourth child of Texan billionaire Davis Duncan. Shaka Bieber, the adopted Ethiopian child of the Canadian singer and his husband, merely chuckled like the borderline moron he was.
“Excuse me please” Eric changed to German
“You’ve got splicer brothers and sisters” Dragan snarled “Why can’t you be normal?”
“Yeah normal?” said Daniel circling around Eric like a shark.
“Excuse me please” Eric asked in Spanish
“Are you simple? A moron” Dragan shoved Eric into Daniel who shoved him back into Dragan “Going to explode in fire or something?”
“No…but I might” the trio turned to see Arthur Orwell standing in the corridor.
“You can’t touch me!” stated Dragan “You freak!”
Arthur shot down the corridor at high speed and slapped Dragan across the face and was back in his original position before the sound reached the ears of the others. Dragan held his cheek.
“Something wrong?” smiled Arthur
Dragan glared at him before walking off, his cronies in tow. Eric pulled his earplugs out and clicked off his music player. “What are you doing here?”
“Looking out for you little bro”
“Didn’t need to” Eric smiled “They’re just stupid rich kids who I barely notice”
“You’re a stupid rich kid”
“I’m a normal stupid rich kid with super siblings. I’ve got the Flash watching my back or are you Northstar?” joked Eric as his brother gave him a playful shove “Maybe Speedy Gonzales”
“Are you okay? Those kids”
“Meh! I’m here coz dad thinks it’s a good school” Eric hoisted his backpack “Why are you here?”
“Dad asked me to pop in and see if you need anything before you come home in two weeks?” Arthur pulled out a cigarette and put it in his mouth. Eric slapped it out of his mouth.
“Smoking?” said Eric “Seriuosly dude you just shouldn’t. Anyways I’m good”
“Sure?”
“I’ve seen the news about the weird Trans Human Task Force bill the US is putting through because you’re a menace” laughed Eric “If it goes through you might have to put on a costume and be a vigilante”
“Or join the army”
“Serious? You? In the army?”
“Thinking about?”
“Well we all can’t be super model actress and movie stars like Blair. By the way have you seen the web animations of you and her?”
“What?”
“Go to www.isuperhumanbangbang.net and you’ll see some pretty sick stuff. There’s also one of the Henri the arm guy doing Blair and Vanessa”
“That’s your sister!”
“Yeah and don’t all the jerks here know it. I don’t watch it but they fill up my Bookface page with it. Bunch of jerks”
“I better go” Arthur gave his little brother a hug-headlock “Two weeks”
“See ya” Eric watched his brother rocket off into the sky
