This thread is for people to post random challenges for people, if you want to add a challenge to this thread for any writer to have a go at, please do...

Challenge #1 from Methos

The challenge is this:

A character from one genre / universe and a character from another genre / universe meet up in Vegas and get really, really smashed. They end up in bed and MARRIED. Your story should pick up the next morning, when one or the other (or both) wakes up completely confused.

What comes next for the (un)happy pair? Do they stay together? Is there a reason why they can't separate? Are there long term consequences or just short term? And what do their friends think of what's happened?

Say you choose Spiderman (Marvel) and Wonder Woman (DC)

your fic starts off when one of them wakes up in the morning, completely confused and starts figuring out what happened the previous night...

don't just limit yourself to DC and Marvel though, use any / all characters you want

Seriously, don't limit yourselves though...

take a look through the database, there may be characters out there you can use for this that you'd never thought of before...

how about Dr Samantha Carter (Stargate) and Rupert Giles (Buffy)?

Maybe Ms Marvel (Marvel) and The Doctor (Dr Who)?

or Jack Hawksmoor (Authority) and Anita Blake (Marvel)

just have fun, thats what writing fanfic is all about
