@batkevin74: Remember us when you're famous Batman. : D
@batkevin74: Ssh don't talk about my book deal
@impurestcheese: Wh ....... Why would you right about One Direction???
@guardiandevil83: Because that's what makes me beautiful. :-P
That's actually good to hear. Of course, there are fan-fic writers who wanted their stories to get recognized. When I first started writing the Wolverine series, a bunch of authors were following me on Twitter. This was a surprise for me. (I'm not kidding. =P) Most of the time, I posted the updates on Twitter after writing and posting them here.
@batkevin74: Ssh don't talk about my book deal
Congrats (whisper).
@the_impersonator: I was kidding :-)

Oh...=P
@the_impersonator: More of a 'Bonnie Banks of Loch Lomond' type of girl

Bonnie Banks of Loch Lomond?
@the_impersonator: Sacrilege how can you have never have heard this song? Basically it tells the story of two brothers coming home from Carlisle after the Jaccobite Uprising. The High Road refers to the route the living brother takes, while the other having been killed by the English is displayed in all the towns between London (where he was executed) and Edinburgh (where he would be buried)

I see. I never took history classes. =P It's a good song, though.
@the_impersonator: Yep it's pretty cool.
@impurestcheese: Wh ....... Why would you right about One Direction???
Why would anyone write about the X-Men? Or Spider-Man? Or Elvis? Because THEY like them. Not everyone likes everything, but someone liked her idea enough to give her six figure deal.
So keep writing :)
@batkevin74: I kid. People can like what they like I don't judge. I'm just an ass at times. lol
@guardiandevil83: Lie? Oops spelling faux pas
@impurestcheese: My mistake. lol
@guardiandevil83: Ah it's cool
@guardiandevil83: Because that's what makes me beautiful. :-P
@wildvine: He he he. Oh dear Wildvine
@batkevin74: Yo, Kev your writing is amazing you should join wattpad.com. It's the site where that young lady from the article was discovered. I joined Friday, it's pretty dope. A site for writers made by writers. And actual publishing houses recruit talent there. If you get enough hits, you could whined up with a book or even movie deal.

I should check this out.
@guardiandevil83: Thanks for the tip
@batkevin74: Let me know what you think of wattpad- I signed up, but am only reading at the moment.

Gave it a whirl, put up a block of my Orwell's story. Not really sure how wattpad works yet but we'll see
@batkevin74: I explored it a bit, found you on there. Looks like a few other writing sites I've been on.
@cbishop: It seems well odd, here seems easier but possibly because of familiarity. But I tried FF.net a while ago and it's a f$#&g nightmare to use!
@batkevin74: True that. FF.net was overly complicated among other things

It's more of a double-edged sword. The tagging system makes it very easy for readers to find what specific niche they are looking for but this also makes it easier for them to avoid testing the waters. As a result, it is really hard to get any feedback on stories, unless it impresses the casual readers in that niche.
@batkevin74: Yeah, I'm thinking of putting up some test posts (not actual stories, as I don't have any I feel are complete enough yet) just to play with the features. That's what I finally had to do here.
@cbishop: @batkevin74: I just made an account on wattpad too. Not sure if I'm going to do much with it though, considering the site looks very bland and judging from most of the titles I'm getting a vibe that it just isn't really my scene.
@dngn4774: What's your Wattpad name? I'll look you up. ...Writing sites in general can get a little bit clique-ish, so it's best to use them for what suits you, and not stress over it too much. I haven't played with the site thoroughly yet, but I like that you can make covers for your stories. That's kind of cool.
@dngn4774: Found you
I dunno, this book is about superheroes. I don't know if he went to Marvel/DC though.
