(After reading a few stories on the Miami zombie and related stories recently surfacing, I noticed that every single one of these incidents happened on the Sunshine Coast. A majority, if not all of the events that happen in this first chapter are true. Other than characters and the story that will lead into the next chapters. Anyways, with all the zombie things in the media, I hope I don't bore you with this. Enjoy.)

MAY 16. 2012. McArthur Highschool. Hollywood.

HazMat crew members in Yellow suits and protective masks sprinted into the school. The men opened classroom doors and peered in, children were being evacuated as the men scanned the school. Wrapping objects in plastic seals and leaving. In the nurse's office, 12 students, 2 teachers. All of them grovelling and scratching at their skin, almost ripping at it. Suited men entered the room and their eyes widened at what they saw. The children, they were all in so much agony. One of the young teenagers ripped at his clothing, tearing it at the seem. Revealing the true symptom. A huge, red, blistering rash. Covering his entire abdomen, encroaching on the rest of his body. All of these victims had the symptoms. Perhaps just a small infection or virus? Perhaps.....

MAY 18. 2012. Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport.

HazMat crews once again are called to an incident, close to the same location. Fort Lauderdale Airport. As they get there. They realize the paramedics have already been there. An 'unkNown' chemical was rumored to have been dispersed in the airport. Sending five to the hospital. More rumors are afloat. Yet not confirmed.

MAY 20. 2012. A Florida highway. Outside Orlando.

Zachary Bird. A highly praised doctor of some sort was pulled over after speeding. He was pulled from his car after being charged with DUI. They handcuffed him and put him in the back of the squad car. Patrol officers said that he was being grumpy, agitated and frisky the entire time. After being put in the squad car Patromen found 14,000 dollars in his car. He believed they were stealing his money and began top scream violently. He then smashed his head agaisnt the plexi-glass of the squad car about 10 time, cutting his forehead. Thus causing him to bleed, heavily. He then began to kick the doors and smash his head while screaming. The Patrol officers. Worried that he would badly damage himself pulled him from the squad car. He then looked at one of the officers and spat blood in his face.....

MAY 23. 2012. Unknown Florida school.

Another HazMat team is called to investigate another Florida High School. They find another case of the previously found unknown rash. No answers to what caused it or if it can be prevented have surfaced.

MAY 24. 2012. Florida Airport.

a disoriented man of Canadian descent sprints the the cock pit of a recently landed plane, screaming at the top of his lungs. He is soon after arrested.

MAY 26. 2012. Miami.

A homeless man sits on the sidewalk of a busy Miami street as a naked man sprints onto the street screaming. The naked man leaps ontp the homeless man and bites into his face, ripping off chunks of it. Spewing blood onto the sidewalk. Bystanders run in fear, a few scream for the man to get off. After minutes of the homeless man being brutally attacked, police show up. A police officer screams multiple times for the man to stop. The naked man did nothing but look up at the officer and growl before continuing to eat the homeless man's face. He was shot in the back by the officer, yet that did not stop him from attacking the other man. It took three more shots for the naked man to finally fall to the ground, dead. The homeless man had 80% of his face eaten.

LAST NIGHT.

A professor at the University of Illinois tweeted this to his students last night: "Hazardous materials released at Institute for Genomic Biology. Escape area if safe to do so. Otherwise seek shelter."

TODAY. Hackensack. New Jersey.

A man in New Jersey was rushed to the hospital early today after cutting open his stomach and throwing his intestines at police officers.

Tyler Drake sat at the cash register of the dollar store where he worked in Miami. He had heard about the attack and the sudden outbreaks but thought nothing of it. PEople spritned past his store. Screaming. He saw another man chasing after him, he leaped onto a woman and bit he neck. Spewing blood all over the sidewalk. The man then stood up and sprinted firther into the streets. Tyler's eyes widened.

"Holy crap..." He whispered to himself. His heart beating wildly.

@DamianWayne: Maybe just leaving it as highly praised doctor would be better instead of what's below

Zachary Bird. A highly praised doctor of some sort was pulled over after speeding.

Also cockpit is one word, other than that, what an awesome beginning of a zombie apocalypse series! Great work, very impressive

Minor spelling mistakes but when viewed against what you've written, you can spell the whole thing wrong! This is really good writing, it's engaging and desperately needs another chapter! Great work @DamianWayne nice read.
