A planet burns as the gigantic being in violet armor walks upon it's surface.A silver silhouette flies across the skyline of a city."There doesn't seem to be anyone left...the evacuation of this planet was successful." says the Silver Surfer,he glides to a small building.The Shi'ar trade-world was seemingly easily evacuated.Seemingly.The Surfer slowly begins to glide closer to the building,but is surprised by an explosion.It merely makes him cover is eyes,and when the smoke clears, there stands a Kree Warrior,holding a glowing staff.
The Surfer shakes his head."You cannot win this battle.Please,let me-" The Kreesman replies by roaring and blasting a strong energy from the tip of his staff.Surfer is blasted in the chest and pushed back,but not toppled.Surfer quickly pulls the staff away from the warrior Via Telekinesis.He then dissembles the extremely advanced device right in front of the roaring Kree,who charges at the Surfer and lifts a fist,but Surfer quickly blasts him in the chest,and right back into the building where he came.Surfer sighs and begins to float away,until he hears it.Crying.
Norrin quickly flies back to the building and clears the smoke.He sees the dead Kreesman laying against a wall,with a hole through his chest.There is a small,feathered woman,A Shi'ar female,cradling something.She is dead,her neck is snapped,but there is crying.Norrin floats towards the body and lifts the thing from the woman's arms.A Baby.....a hybrid infant.The Surfer's eyes widen.He looks to a nearby explosion,no doubt due to Galactus's feeding frenzy.
The Surfer looks at the baby and then at the explosions repeatedly before holding the infant in his arms and flying out of the building.He creates a field around the child as they fly through a explosion.The small baby's eyes glow as it watches the amazing spectacle.They glide across the planet,lazily flying upwards and eventually into the blackness of space.
