This is more sci-fi that super-hero, but i think its iight. Check it out.
Save The Galaxy.
He couldn't muster enough power to his thrusters/
He duck~cursed~his~luck, and reloaded his blasters/
Galazy's best~thing was res~ting on his shoulders/
One man space pod left, to take on the asteroid boulders/
World was in a war, marked with a scar, and queen~less/
The flood~of~time left a blood~line, that was the prin~cess/
"You must go, if we're too slow, they'll get~you..."/
"I'm not leaving you!" "Now what good would that~do?"/
He smiled and hugged her, one last~time/
Then spoke his last~line, "I love you,"/
She shook her head~and~said, "I place no one above~you."/
Her kissed~her/
Realizing how much he would miss~her/Then held her tightly, stars never shined so brightly/
"You'll always be my only one" he squeezed his gun/
And hit her lightly.../Took her body in his arms away from harm/
"They cannot harm~me"/
He thought~as~he~fought inside, all he had was his one man ar~my/
He input commands, countdown began/
He turned~as~his~heart~burned, and found a frown again/
Ran on top of the hill and stood, like the flowers~still/
His beaten armor reinforced by his power~of~will/
Facing the fleet he gritted his teeth, couldn't see their end/
Threw his last grenade, while trying to regret~and~not~forget
The final serenade of his stand/Recieved a shot in the head, knocking off his hel~met/
You could assume~his~fear~was~consumed by love, that was his best~bet/
Just a pilot, he ran against the best death~machines/
He felt, twenty shots above his belt, hit his chest stopping his breath~regimes/
He fired his last clips, his mind an eclipse, but he had to try/
To stay alive so she could fly, he didn't cry/
While tasting his own blood~that~flood over his face/
He fell into the mud, heard how slow was his heart's pace/
And then the blast, the final blast, that dismissed his past/
He saw her fly away in tears, his vision smears, he closed his eyes at last/
And smiled...
A gun that was broke/ a mind full of hope/A chest full of scars/ a sky full of stars/
That formed a sign of dove/ And a heart thats full of love/1
