I'm wanting to get Marvel Iron Age up and running again but its fairly bogged down at the moment so which is better a reboot or a revamp.

Any opinion at all would be helpful here

New 52 it.

Well either way I'm going to do some kind of end for the old one. I was considering a Flashpoint like story, not in that someone will go through alternate realities just in that it will end everything from the old storylines and restart the new. The revamp would involve a massacre of pretty much all of the characters that are currently there and starting over with new guys, while the reboot would wipe the slate clean and start back where we began with some minor alterations.

@joshmightbe: No, that's terrible. Have someone mess with the reality and time gems.

@awesam:

In Iron Age not sure but in marvel they all broke except for time gem.

In case they have to milk it a bit more for another storyline, or use it for retcons.

@joshmightbe: You could have someone use a time gem to restart it all.

I'd say reboot it.

@princeimc: I thought we lost you when the site upgraded

@awesam: During the Infinity Sanction...I think that's what we called it, Thanos got a hold of nearly all the gems and didn't reset reality

@joshmightbe: I say kill'em all let Stryfe win and restart Iron Age 2 years later. Keep what we had, just start again. As I said I'll put my guys on the chopping block to show I'm serious

@princeimc: Well hello!

@time_phantom What do you think?

Reboot.

Yeah I've been keeping a low profile for a while and when the new site came up I don't have as easy a time going through the forums so I have been around even less.

@awesam: Well at the moment it appears that more people would rather see a full reboot than a revamp that sticks with the old continuity

@joshmightbe: Start from the beginning and change it up a bit.

I'm going to write my version of the end of the old start of the new to see if it sways people :) But if we go reboot, just treat it like Splinter of the Mind's Eye

@batkevin74: You write yours and I'll write mine. Josh shall choose which is better.
