New Amalgam Comics: Thunder Woman #5
INT. New York
In the office of Dr Diana Blake, Diana Blake returns from her vacation to Norway Island.
DIANA (thoughts):
What a vacation that was. I found the Hammer of Truth that belonged to the Mighty Thunder Woman. I should call Steve, tell him I’m back.
But before she can get to the phone, she hears a police siren. She looks out the window and sees a police car chasing another car.
DIANA:
I have to stop that before anyone starts shooting. All I have to do it tap my cane on the ground to become...
She taps her cane on the ground. There’s a huge flash of light, and she is in her Thunder Woman costume.
DIANA:
... The Mighty Thunder Woman! Princess of Amagard.
She flies out of her office and begins to chase the car.
DRIVER:
I think we lost them.
PASSENGER:
Yeah, but there’s something above us.
DRIVER:
Whatever it is, shoot it down.
The passenger begins to shoot in the sky, but Thunder Woman deflects the bullets with her bracelets.
PASSENGER:
Oh God, it’s Thunder Woman! Loose her!
The driver begins to floor it, but Thunder woman throws the hammer of truth at the engine, destroying it.
DRIVER:
Get your gun ready.
The two get out of the car. And point their guns at Thunder Woman.
THUNDER WOMAN:
Don’t be stupid.
They begin to shoot, but Thunder Woman deflects them.
THUNDER WOMAN:
Done yet?
Thunder Woman grabs them, and ties them to her hammer. She throws the hammer into the sky, with the two men attached.
THUNDER WOMAN (thoughts):
The hammer of truth will take them to the police station, then it will come back to me.
And that’s what happens. Thunder Woman swings her hammer and flies through the air. She gets back to her office, only to find Baldiope waiting.
BALDIOPE:
Thunder Woman! It is good to see you again.
THUNDER WOMAN (thoughts):
I don’t know this woman personally, but I remember her from studying Amazon Mythology in school. That’s Baldiope.
BALDIOPE:
You probably don’t remember me after mother erased your memory, so let me introduce myself. I am Baldiope.
THUNDER WOMAN:
I am Thunder Woman. What have you come here for?
BALDIOPE:
I have come for your assistance in saving Amagard.
THUNDER WOMAN (thoughts):
Amagard? It’s real?
BALDIOPE:
Hippodin erased your memory, so you don;t remember me. But if you want to free your sisters, you must help me fight Demoki’s forces.
THUNDER WOMAN:
If I help, can I have my memories back?
BALDIOPE:
If Hippodin did not feal you deserved your memory, she would not of sent me.
THUNDER WOMAN:
Okay. I will help.
BALDIOPE:
Good. Now, let’s get in the plane.
The two go to the top of the roof to get in an invisible jet. They get in, and take off.
Cut to.
EXT. Island
THUNDER WOMAN:
Is this Amagard?
BALDIOPE:
It it one of the nine islands, but not Amagard.
THUNDER WOMAN:
Why don’t we go all the way to Amagard?
BALDIOPE:
Because Demoki will detect us and the entire island’s defenses will be waiting for us. We must go on foot from here.
Suddenly, a large, tiger like creature bursts out of a cave, knocking Thunder Woman and Baldiope to the ground.
THUNDER WOMAN:
Who are you?
CREATURE:
I am Cheelik!
