Dan Mention was a scientist who was working on a cure for cancer, and he was almost finished. However, a jealous scientist wanted to invent something better then him. So, one night, the jealous scientist, Sean Carribat, snuck into Dan's lab and sabatoged his research and stuff. The scientist also stole some stuff, and with it he attempted to create a portal to go to another dimension. Dan found out what happened and went to stop Sean from opening a portal to the 4th Dimension. So, Dan snuck into Sean's lab to take apart the machine before it was finished, and Sean walked in and caught him. Sean went to attack Dan, who quickly grabbed a gun he found on the floor near the machine and attempted to shoot Sean in self-defense, but the gun opened a portal behind Sean, who tripped backwards and fell into the next dimension. Dan went into the portal to save Sean, and fought off other-dimensional beasts using the gun. He finally found Sean, who was in massive pain and got amnesia. Luckily, Sean was passed out, so he didn't see where he was and didn't see Dan. Dan made a portal with the portal gun, and went back into his dimension, only to see the entire building was getting sucked into the portal. Dan shot the portal with the gun, and the portal got sucked back into the gun. Dan and Sean got out of the building before it collapsed and then exploded. Dan put on a dirty yellow and blue mask he found on the curb so nobody would know it was him when he brought Sean to the hospital.
Celestial
Dan thought it was best to put the gun deep in his new lab where it'll be safe and forget that night, but in the next dimension, a cosmic creature known as the Celestial found Sean and hitched a ride to our dimension inside his body. When Sean left the hospital, The Celestial took over, and he became its human host. As The Celestial, Sean wreaked havoc with his new extra-dimensional powers. Dan saw this on the news, and put on his mask and made a suit to go with it. He got the gun and went to send The Celestial back to its own dimension. Dan, under the new code-name, Dimensionrunner, confronted Sean, a.k.a Celestial, at the radio broadcast tower, and knocked him into it, blowing it up. However, Sean's new powers prevented him from dying or being harmed, and Sean flew out of the explosion and blasted Dan to the ground. Dan set the dimension-gun to send Celestial back to his dimension when he blasted him. Dan tried to get Celestial right where he wanted him, so he started making random portals and jumping through them to get to the top of the broadcast tower, where he could reach Celestial. He closed his eyes and blasted Celestial. However, he was to powerful to get sucked into Dan's gun. The gun pulled him forward, but Celestial struggled to fight it. Dan put it to its full power, and the gun only managed to pull Celestial out of Sean, instead of sucking them both in, but thats just what Dan wanted. Sean, however, ended up falling out of the sky after losing his powers. Dan opened up several portals, jumping into one, and out of the other, until he reached Sean and grabbed him, then jumped into another portal in midair, and then came out of one on the ground, saving Sean. Sean's memory came back, but he and Dan forgave each other, and nobody ever knew about the incident with the portal. Everything was good for a while, but Celestial swore revenge...

- Gabe Shreek/Bloody Murder, a former mercenary who was killed by his old partner, then resurrected and given a suit that amplifies his screams by 32,00,000, and then killed by his old partner again, then resurrected again but as a girl, and then killed by his old partner AGAIN.
- Anthony Treddskin/Hurricane, a former boxer who signed up for a top-secret project that turned him into a fiend with the ability to cause tornadoes and hurricanes.
