CAPTION(Moon Knight): I smell his burning fur.

Side view. Moon Knight walks past Jack Russell’s (human form of Werewolf By Night) body.
CAPTION(Moon Knight): His body stinks like death and blood.

Side view. Black Spectre holds Moon Knight up by his neck.

BLACK SPECTRE: Your symbols are dead.

Side view. Moon Knight slamming into the ground, his face first. He doesn’t have a mask, and his hood is in tatters, barely even staying on him at this point.
BLACK SPECTRE(from off panel): Your castle has been burnt down.
Panel 3:
Show Bushman licking the blood off of the machete.
BLACK SPECTRE(from off panel): Your queen is dead.
Panel 4:
Show Black Spectre standing over Moon Knight. He is shadowed and all we see are his glowing red eyes and the red moon in the sky. Khonshu stands in the distance.
BLACK SPECTRE: The Moon Knight is dead.

MARC: True…. >hghk<….

Khonshu’s face. He’s smiling.
MARC: But Marc Spector….the mercenary…

Show Black Spectre’s leg. Marc is jamming a crescent dart into the calf.

Back view of Black Spectre as Marc slashes his throat open with a sword.

Pan out to show Moon Knight leaning against a brick chimney on a building outside of the main districts of NYC (it’s more urban). His clothes are normally, fully clean, shimmering in the moon light. The moon is full.
MOON KNIGHT: Wh…wha….

Show Moon Knight looking down at his open palms.
MOON KNIGHT: What…

Show a side view of Moon Knight, utterly confused. Khonshu is standing before him. Moon Knight is looking at Khonshu, surprised.
MOON KNIGHT: What’s going on?!
KHONSHU: Clear your thoughts. You were sleeping, Moon Knight.

Show Moon Knight. He’s pointing at Khonshu (off panel).
MOON KNIGHT: Moon Knight?! Wh-who or WHAT are you!?

Show Khonshu, twice as large, glaring down at Moon Knight as if he was an angry parent scolding a child.
KHONSHU: You will be told what your purpose is, and when to perform it.

Side view of Khonshu’s face.
KHONSHU: Do not remove the vestments you wear. They are your flesh. Without them, you will die. There’s no question.

View from behind Moon Knight. The building is overlooking Jean Paul and Rob’s restaurant, and Marlene is walking out, completely unharmed. As if the entire saga didn’t even happen. She looks like her entire world is looking up.
CAPTION(Moon Knight): A feeling of intense longing….and sadness.

(Fear not! There will be a followup to this story that will explain the (intentionally) unclear ending, I decided to leave it a bit ambigous to keep the reader (you, genius) guessing! Fear my mindtrickery! BWWEEEEEEEOOOOOOO~!! ..... Nah but seriously, I hope ya enjoyed it! This was my first attempt at a mindf*ckish story.)
