Welcome to Mashed Up Origins! This is an experiment of mine that I was going to make into a group, but with the chaos that a group can bring I decided to go it alone. Feel free to do your own. It’s short, sweet and basically a quick origin, not an ongoing just something to make you go (hopefully) “I’d like to see that!” This is the third one I've done starting with Winter Soldier, Thor and now Fantastic Four. “You don’t have to come” said Reed Richards
“Big Brain” said Ben Grimm “You gonna fly that bucket of bolts yourself are you? You may be smart but you’re no pilot”
“And if you think I’m letting my sister go to the moon without me” said Johnny Storm “You are crazy!”
“If my boyfriend, my friend and my brother are all going to do something incredibly stupid like sneak onto an air force base to steal a rocket to prove or disprove a hypothesis then you’re going to need a beautiful blonde to smooth over the trouble we’re all going to be in” said Susan Storm adjusting her jacket “Shall we?”
Reed looked over at the woman he one day would make his wife and smiled.
Johnny fired up the jeep “Let’s go people, because if not I’ve got a date I can go on”

“Is that a jeep on the test range?” asked Dr Bruce Banner as he headed over to Dr Igor Starsky’s station
“Always on the ball” said Starsky “Why don’t you go fix that”
The two scientists locked eyes. Banner never really liked the former Russian scientist but his science was top-notch and that’s all that mattered.
“I’ll inform the MP’s” said Banner as he turned to leave when he caught a look of the timer “Oh my god! There’s only thirty seconds left!”
“Oh no!” cried Starsky in fake horror “We’ll have to abort the test”
“You idiot!” scolded Bruce “We’ve gone past the point of no return” Bruce grabbed some goggles and strapped them over his eyes and moved to the viewing area “May god have mercy on your soul Igor”
The gamma bomb exploded and tore Reed Richards, Benjamin Grimm, Susan Storm and Johnny Storm to pieces. The world seemed to stand still, trembling on the brink of infinity as four voices let out ear-splitting screams as gamma radiation permeated, infused and cooked them.

Reed Richards sat up in the sick bay “Where am I?”
“You’re in a medical hospital” said the doctor through his radiation suit “You’re lucky to be alive” The doctor's Geiger counter crackled.
“Where’s Ben! Johnny! SUSAN”
“Settle down son” said the doctor
“WHERE IS SUSAN?” yelled Reed, sweat beading on his forehead. The Geiger counter crackled louder “SUSAN!”
“I’m going to give you a sedative to clam you down” said the doctor. Reed backhanded the doctor across the room as his bones enlarged in his body, his skin began to stretch and turn green. The Geiger counter went critical.
“SUSAN!”
“Oh my god” gasped the doctor as a dramatic transformation began to take place.
